I saw nothing, absolutely diddly squat. Ventured right out to the shore edge (and bear in mind Bournemouth isn't light polluted on the seafront, unlike Brighton and Blackpool). Nothing, well, if any consolation it was peaceful hearing the waves crashing to shore, but i've experienced that before. Total let-down. Perseus meteor, hang your starry bangle in shame!

I reccommend taking a holiday in a location on the path of totality of a solar eclipse. You won't forget observing cosmic snooker in a hurry.
