The problem for Corin, is that she picked up a lot of votes off the back of the idea of her being the only way to stop JJJ from winning. Sam is now picking up a fair amount of those votes now

I agree TM, but assuming she outlasts him, most of his vote goes her way, as the anti JJJ vote.

What's the likelihood that John James and Josie fans campaign to get them to the final 2? On a poll, they get one vote, but there's nothing to stop them voting for both when they get the chance.

John James is incredibly unpopular on DS and hes leading their popularity poll

I'm sure there are Josie fans that don't like JJ and vice versa, and who knows, there could be a big bust up between them soon. But the two of them are getting a 40 - 50% share of the vote out of 10 people.

I think JJJ fans are out in force tonight. Think all polls have been linked into the JJJ app thread.

Surely Josie gets squeezed out in the final, as JJ is the one the JJJ fans really love.

Having said that, I'm amazed at how well her polling is holding up.

I think you underestimate her support FLL, and are letting DS throw you. Most girls I've spoken to about it at all (20 - 40), find her the most relatable to. Maybe that says something about the girls I am friends with or come into contact with, but there is something about her that still appeals.

The survation poll was interesting reading. Josie has a better chance of beating Corin than JJ does in a final 2 vote according to their stats

I don't think TVPolls did TM. The only H to Hs I've seen are Survation and BBOnline which both has JJ1 doing better than Josie.

What it shows is JJ and Josie are pretty marmite characters.
You either love them or you're not keen.
They only pick up votes from each other and not other HM's as they drop out.

Tvpolls definitely did one. Because I remembering being surprised that Josie performed better against Corin than JJ did. It was something like 53/47 for Corin vs. Josie. and 57/43 for Corin vs. John James

I don't like her to be fair, but he has grown on me an awful lot, mainly because of his reaction to Sam I think

They've started strongly on DS and TIBB, but we shall see how they look when they settle down.

I don't like John James much. Josie I still see something about that I like. I don't disagree with Johnny that she's mental, but that kin of endears her to me.

Corin always starts well on BB Online and then JJ overtakes. And Josie begins to catch up as the week goes on as well

We shall see if that happens this week.

BBOL.  Terrific from Sam. I'd say he's moderating the worse of his cheekiness too. If he could find a balance between scamp and sensitive, and avoids the cut this week he's a big runner. If anything untoward should happen to Corin he could even win

Polls are often good, but I can't help thinking of John in CBBHJ - was polling about 2% yet won the whole thing....this makes me think of Steve here.

Reason it reminds me of John is that there were rumours he won due to a bloc-vote from somewhere - Steve's price has stayed consistently low despite no evidence or reason...

John was fancied early but had very little poll support - pretty similar to Steve here.

John was doing well in some polls.
He was led the final survation poll for example.

Was he? He was miles behind in all the polls I saw - was survation way out (with the others) for some reason?

I suspect there were lots of earlier viewers in CBBCH that only tuned in again at the final - as it wasn't a standard BB.

Whilst I think there is this effect in all series of BB, it more vastly more prominent in CBBCH - particularly due to the far lower ratings.

David last year also looked dead set to be out first on final night based on polls - by quite some margin - but came 3rd.

I didn't see BBCH but I've just checked TIBB and he was 5th out of 6th with just 8.2% in their final poll "Who do you want to win Big Brother Celebrity Hijack?" 695 votes.

2nd just by 0.5%. But that wasn't early viewers just tuning in to the final. He had a massive surge of support in the last few days when he became the only one to start standing up to Rex.

8.2% is very different to 2% (which I suspect was his DS polling?)and very different to steve's 0-1%.

How was John doing on BBOL? Over 10%

I didn't watch, but iirc he won in a tight 4 way battle, mainly due to getting the big task on the opening night and a regional vote.

I'm just a suspicious type - when I see a price stay very low for no apparent reason.

He's low because C4 often push their "token" housemates late on. We all know of C4's previous tedious agendas.

He's not one I'd back, but I'd be reluctant to lay - I think the reluctance to lay because of who he is, is the reason he's low.

Shrewd, don't be put off if you think he is worth the punt mate.
I've had him down as a potential from day one, and he has not done too much to put me off. The drivel on my thread "is it cos I is fick" will explain why I think he will do well.

FWIW Some of us felt that Jon would win CBB and gave our reasoning about him being viewed by those who only watch the first night and finals night.
The nonsense about the 10,000 block vote was negated by the DS attempt to rig the vote by voting for the little foreign monstrosity. (who actually did quite well in the end)
