Sams dilema which means he probably can't win is if he keeps up the way he started hes going to have a small group of support that like that behaviour but most people will think hes a bit of a dick. If he stops saying nasty things to people he becomes pointless and might stay in the house longer but will lose all those supporters that liked him for doing that.

So whatever he does he can't win. Hes already softened a bit knowing nominations are on the way and its pretty clear hes desperate to stay but if that means he starts checking his behaviour he loses the main reason people like him.
