Don't think Andrew was that vulnerabe to begin with so I would not go as far as calling him a fraud. He is very very ironic about his geek image, and exaggerates his awkwardness to some extent. Obviously, this was the wrong tactic as he comes across as creepy to most viewers.

Think he's playing up to the 'aaaaaaaaw how sweet, he's so inexperienced and probably a virgin' crowd.

I suspect some people might be confusing entertainment potential with winner potential, layz.
