I haven't seen any LF of him, I fell asleep straight after the 2nd HL show, Sam's got great humour, much needed in there, but the crux is does he have humility too? Otherwise he could just be a sh1t.

He can have a run just with point 1 in this field Henry
Plenty have.
Angel traded at 7s for the virtue of being weird iirc
But to answer point 2, his humour doesn't seem overly malicious

And to think so many of us wanted fat black man in (including me, thinking of my ANother green), who would have probably been a thick boring dullard (despite his claim to high IQ).

It's great that he doesn't seem in the slightest bit fazed by the other big "characters" in the house and the fact that they have been there for a long time, and is able to go steaming in straight away.
Unlike previous drips who just retreat into their shell. JJ2's head is so firmly up JJJ's @rses you barely notice he is there, complete waste of space.

Having a nice convo with Sam last night about the work Sam does in schools etc. Nicey nicey
He could easily be buried by the prods this week, but may prove more difficult to switch off than Arnold Scharwtzenegger in that film

and gets easily wound up by those who are loud, crazy and attention-seeking pot kettle
Believing he'll made a good leader in the house, Sam claims he will do well in tasks by working hard to organise people and solve issues. However, this leadership role might be hard for him to get, as people who aren't his friends can quite often dislike him and find him annoying! This could be a laugh, just what the house needs

However, the new housemate was quick to confront Josie over the comments she has made about him during the past week.
"I didn’t like what you said to other people," she said. "That’s why you're here, 'cause I went on about how annoying you are. Even Govan had a go at you."
"Yeah but look at Govan," Sam replied.
However, while Josie offered to "wipe it all clean" with the new housemate others remained unimpressed.
"You look familiar Andrew," Sam said
"Well yeah, I'm on Big Brother," retorted Andrew - leading JJ to comment that he "does not look happy with Sam's arrival".

I really like the guy. It's a pity he's more geek freak than geek chic to most viewers. He'd be much more popular if only he'd decided to spray paint the walls of oxford rather than study maths there.

That's his true chance GB, I'm not a layer. Or a trader for that matter. He won't win is all I'm concerned with. Unfortunately I'm having doubts about John who I have to consider has a chance now, if things go his way.

I'm always bullish in my opinions, GB, and I usually stick with them.
This year we've already had the forum banging on about Steve, then Ben, then Andrew, all no chance of winning.
I still feel John will get exposed but there is a fear that BB could help him over the line. He has enough residual popularity out there to win I think.

A close one if they continue to hide JJ's negatives on the HL's.
A procession for Corin if they show him warts and all
So a 2 horse now lads? Or 3 if we include sam ;)A close one if they continue to hide JJ's negatives on the HL's.A procession for Corin if they show him warts and all
oc obvious he's been helped but usually this is to set them up for a fall and keep the hm's that provide highlight footage in the house. I don't trust the prods to 'out' him whereas this can usually be relied upon, Vinnie etc, as bb usually want good to win out.

Hope this Sam exposes Andrew for the counterfeit personality he is. All pretend naivete, ooooh a girl, must act all awquard to enforce the idea i'm shy and sweet. Such a fricking facade that guy has constructed.

Yep, I agree cider. They've never backed a wrong'un all the way. As you say, they just back them to keep them in til late on for the HL's. I guess the HM's will act out one of the HL's soon. If it's a JJJ lovey dovey one then we're fooked. If it's the one where he attacks rachael, or something similar, then he's fooked.
As for Sam. The fact that he looks like he's just walked off the set of one of these teen dramas is a big positive for him.
I couldn't totally write him off in this field

The dreaded 'journey' looms, if they want they could show how John has transformed his behaviour during his time in the house. One feels they won't be able to resist putting the JJJ tryst to the test at some point, and wait for the fallout.

5.55, not often I study races as bad as this. Fav looks solid enough but plenty short enough. Maybe a small ew Crystallize.
6.25, odds-on fav doesn't look to have too much opposition.
6.55 extremely tight little hcap, can't cross any of them out tbh.
7.25 would fancy Imperial Warrior of not so poorly drawn. Mogok Ruby might come back to form one day, likewise Mr Skipiton, but front three look to have plenty going for them esp. the fav
7.55 I'm happy to oppose Foghorn and hope Dubai, Partout or even Silca could take him on.
8.25 desp. affair. Maybe Burnbrake as an outsider. Rowan Light ran a fair race here recently.

Not necessarily, viewers might think BB were being unfair on him by dragging it up. I was surprised it didn't sink him in that first week. It seemed he gained popularity from it.
Or he could even apologise for how he behaved.

The kind of prank they do in those places is to paint green leaves around the base of post boxes and put white spots on the top (to resemble a mushroom).

Don't think Sam can win although hes already been much more entertaining than most but i do think hes going to end the chances of a few HMs. Andrew already looks so put out, and it might bring Josie's bad side out a bit too.

He surely must overtake Andrew on the ladder soon.
He's only been in a few days and is already polling double Andrews figures who has been in there 3 weeks.
This guy clearly has voter appeal, while Andrew clearly doesn't.
It's possible that Sam could mount a serious challenge. He only has 2 evictions to negotiate and then we're onto the positive vote. He's already in double figures on some polls. If he can double that in the next week or so, he's really in the running.
Andrew's polling is still terrible at 5% ish and is going backwards. It would take a miracle for him to win from there. Why is he 12/1?
Easily single figures, I reckon. He surely must overtake Andrew on the ladder soon. He's only been in a few days and is already polling double Andrews figures who has been in there 3 weeks. This guy clearly has voter appeal, while Andrew clearly do
On his antics so far I suspect he'd have been clear favourite if he'd been in since the beginning (assuming he could keep up the energy level).
If he carries on entertaining I really can't see why a fickle crowd would stay loyal to Corin or any of the others simply because they've been there longer. Plus the vote may be swamped in the final week by Johnny-come-lately voters influenced only by the last few edits.
Thankyou whoever gave me 70s on him.

You are either one of the following (or even both):
a) a ramper trying to get Sam's price down.
b) someone who doesn't read newspapers and magazines and believe they have a large say on who wins.

Or maybe I've watched the show and found him entertaining at every appearance, rather than dull and worried about how he/she might look to the public.
In fact the more I think about it the less I'm inclined to lay off ANY of my green on him even if he does go to single figures.
