If you were quick on the button, you could get some nice prices after reverse ferret had made his weekly pronouncement on DS. Even less chance of insider trading these days as they post the results of noms within 30 mins on the homepage.

I wonder if reverse ferret was ever aware of the vast sums that changed hands on his say-so? As I recall there was an imposter (reverse feret or something) at one point, which caused some confusion. Can't remember the name of the woman who took over spilling duties after rf bowed out, but she was pretty reliable too.

As for the suspension, even if they wanted to be ultra cautious, they could suspend from when the noms starts on the monday, til the announcement monday afternoon. Then re-open and just suspend for 30 mins or so while the S&R task is going on. No need to suspend from midnight sunday, til wednesday lunch time.

I never, ever saw the point of suspending from midnight sunday. Back in the days of BB6 Derick would only just be starting his nomination politicking at that time, and with a little bit of legwork you'd have a very good idea who was up and hopefully some juicy prices. Is that cheating? Or just sensible betting?
Imo it just takes the intuition and skill away from BB betting and encourages the "lump on at 1.05" brigade.

Just trying to find out wahts going on, if she comes back in she goes so the 2.20 on here is huge. Right? If not rachel at 5.00 to go next could be huge? just need to no either way.

So we dont no if it is cancelled then What all this about a live show tonight?
I think who ever rachel goes up agianst she will go so i think 5.00 is a good price. Nominations are getting hard now and she has a few annoying habbits that are starting to grate on people so i think there is a good chance she will be up.

Sorry, delete the word "market", the market is fine.
But the eviction has been cancelled before when a potential evictee has walked.
Or been carried as in this case.

If you look at the outright market, it strongly suggests that she's history.

punters laying her just getting extra option on her going

Tonights live show cancelled BB11 news and gossip.. Total Big Brother has been given a tip-off that tonight’s one-off live show has been cancelled, Channel 4 has CONFIRMED.
Following a strike by French air traffic controllers, Davina McCall is stuck in France, unable to get back to Elstree for tonight’s show.
The one hour and forty minute segment was supposed to see Davina McCall interview Caoimhe after she walked out from the Big Brother house yesterday.
It is being suggested that Keeley will not bet returning to the house following her ankle injury in yesterdays ‘Save & Replace’ task, so both she and Caoimhe will have a joint interview on Friday, meaning that the eviction will be cancelled.
Tonight’s show will instead feature highlights from the past 24 hours inside the house.
Update – 15:07 A short while ago Davina tweeted the following message to her fans on Twitter:
“I’m in France with the kids. Was going to fly back for tonight but tried planes trains automobiles. The French are striking, back friday.”
More shortly.

They cancelled when Kenneth did one. But in BB7, Glyn, Dawn and Bonnie were meant to be up first week, Dawn was kicked out and the eviction still went ahead.

Housemates have just been informed by Big Brother that:
"Due to Caoimhe's departure and Keeley's absence from the House this week's nominations have become null and void and this week's eviction has been cancelled."

indeed, i think bb done this to try and leave door open for return for keeley
if still eviction tommorow they may thought
1. is it save to get her up and down those steps? (imagine if rained on fri?)
2. keeley may think "why hell am i going in to struggle when i know im cert to go"

If for any reason a scheduled eviction show is cancelled or postponed, then this market will remain open and all bets will be settled once the relevant eviction has been confirmed
Yep, market rules, carries over.

Considering the probability she may not even be in the house next week is quite high.
then factor in that she'd have to be nominated (people may feel awkward nominating someone in her state)
then take into account there would be a mental based S&R - and given shes one of the more intelligent ones - has a high chance of winning.
Add in potential sympathy - potential lack of HL's coverage - combined with the fact she hasn't done much wrong to date (no where near the levels of Keeva, Shabby, Sunshine) and the audience is largely very fickle.
Hence 3.5 is stupid.

I just can't see her picking up more than 2 noms next week - JJ and Dave.
Everyone else either likes her or will feel bad about nominating her when she's not full strength / had a tough week.

Possibly. Also unlikely to perform well in a vote to save, as well as evict.
I'm not sure how likely it is she'll be up again. I think Corin's nomination may be key - so it's worth keeping an eye on whether Corin and Rachel start getting along better.

Seems like BB are probably glad to have an excuse to cancel a nomination involving two of their carefully selected newbies against a likely more popular old-timer rather than risk yet again losing a later entrant at the first opportunity.

If i backed John James to be evicted how can the market carry over with the irish bird out of the betting. Surely my bet is void, as the market i bet on does not exist, and the eviction was cancelled, and there is another week now to form an opinion. Big Brother is not Horse Racing where you can bet on form line's and it is not an ante post market where you lose your money on non runner's. Also if Keeley is removed from the eviction process what happen's then!!!!

randy100 - thats the way it works on BB evictions, always has done. People have laid 1000 shots when they avoided nomination only for one of the potential evictees to be chucked out for rule breaking resulting in that week's eviction being cancelled and the 1,000 shot getting evicted the following week.
