1. Always, always, always lay the early favourite.

2. Monitor the DS Poll. The power of the DS vote has been underestimated in recent years. The DS vote makes up a huge proportion of the real vote since viewer numbers have dwindled.

3. Identify anyone in the house who is becoming a "victim", either of BB editing or actions of others within the house.

4. Lump on, and be prepared to go "against the crowd" at times. Viewers tend to "choose" their favourite to latch onto during Weeks 2 and 3 and it will require that person to virtually commit murder to lose that support.
