Nick I wouldn't worry about Kitten, Ben's price was much higher when Kitten started supporting him. And as for being led by Digital Spy, it's more the other way around, I still laugh when I think of the "rich boy" Freddy pimping thread.

It's not DS where Ben is doing well in the Polls. He is top of TIBB poll and will probably be top of Big Brother online when it opens. Also joint leading or leading some others. Nathan's % in Least Fav polls is more than his % in Fav polls- not a good sign at all. I just can't see Endemol wanting him to win- he would bring any thing new to the table.

Looks like the initial HM reaction is 'what do you expect from Ben'?http://www.channel4.com/bigbrother/article/news/2010/Jul/3/shabby-annoyed-at-housemates/view.c4
Personally I completely ignore all polls and prefer to rely on BB history instead with the final night voting demographic firmly at the front of my mind.
Re Nathan - I agree he brings absolutely nothing new to the table, but I really don't think any of them do after 10 series of BB and quite a few Celeb BBs.
I would like to see Josie win, or Corin, and I think they both have excellent chances as they are fundamentally 'nice' people. I also believe Nathan is fundamentally 'nice'. I am in no way saying he has a strong chance but I like taking contrarian positions in markets and in my own mind am convinced he has about double the chance which the market is currently giving him. That means I still think he has a 94% of NOT winning.
All 10 previous BB winners have been fundamentally 'nice' people as well as being in a fairly tight age range, and all have been working or middle class. Sexualitiy and race is irrelevent in my opinion. So, I believe that Josie, Corin, Mario and Nathan are the best fits of past results. Iffe is playing a massive game, Ben isn't a team player on top of the obvious negatives, Dave is too old, Steve is too old but I won't oppose a 'hero'. Caoimhe is a nasty piece of work imo, and Shabby might possibly have a chance. This is a modest field and I suppose that A.O. could still come int

Should have said the reason I ignore polls is that you never know how manipulated they are, and also we are too early in the series for them to be that important - even if they were straight.

I note he has a Freddie style lead on BBOL, and surely that one opened after him quitting the task?
He has a teflon capability with HM's and the public it seems

But how many have entered that weren't in this category? - barely any, so I think you're confusing the sample with the potential to win.

Because of those 'deserving' demographic issues I should add
His mate Raef was clearly the best on that series of the Apprentice, but was essential booted for those reasons

jumped off this waste of space, i cant see the public voting him to win when he does'nt make any effort in the tasks. CGMOOH is all about the tasks, if he was in the jungle he would be a 1000/1...yes, you may say its a diiferent program but i still believe the viewing public want to see the tasks at least being tried. it wont be hard for BB to get rid of him whenever they feel like it, so for me he's a massive lay.
my mrs said tonite she could'nt watch him when he was chatting to mario and left the room, she's a typical BB fan...who only watches the H/L shows, like most of the casual voters. he can have all the online support he wants but in the real world he's losing it every task he does'nt do.

Will he really stay below 7s if he's up? Dave should get a week off for taking one for the team and Keeva may be let off the hook now that Shabby's gone and she'll have had a day or so to endear herself to others in the house.

he is a huge snob. just intellectually rather than monetarily
He's said twice he doesn't think he's intelligent, just knowledgeable, so he's modest. He called JJ stupid, that doesn't make him an intellectual snob.

he just thinks certain other housemates are tedious, he has constantly moaned how he finds conversations about farting and stuff to be below him. he wanted to organise a daily discussion group for goodness sake!! he certainly acts as though he feels that the whole Big Brother experience is a bit below him, hence his lack of interest in attempting the tasks and his worry about how it will affect his career.

Yep I sympathise with all of that. I don't call it snobby, just normal.

no Kitten, just personally hate the snivelling little toerag, have known too many people like him. However with the polls as they are and being left without Scabby I can only see a BB ramp of him until they get bored. So I'm waiting to see if he goes short price fav before I lay him :)

I don't think he'll win but I'm not overly bothered. What I am bothered about is laying them high and then laying off at a quarter of the odds.

Posh people like Ben who surprise viewers by their general niceness and make them them laugh because of their bumbling humour are a traders wet dream. They can make money on his way up the betting for most of the show and also on his way down the betting when it comes towards the end and his class counts against him, especially inside the house.

The Ben Brigade is now so immense, it has to be split into three colour coded separate batallions, red, white and blue:-http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=41602715&postcount=466Incredible scenes!
Punting aside, I find him fascinating. If I'm honest, if I was not punting on BB, he'd be the only reason I watched it. The resr of them are as charismatic as a pile of poo.

Still time to get off the Bender bus. Everyone including Steve is onto the lazy, b1tchy, selfish, smirking granny lover. This journey is about to end abruptly.

There's a lot of resistance to the price around 7, K. With Corin and Mario shortening I can't see him coming in much. People are happy to lay in the 8's

Yeah, it's marginal. I think a lot of punters assume he can't win.
I suspect they are wrong, but it'll take quite a lot to shake them from that view.
Corin and Mario don't have that perception I think

I've not given up on Ben, TK, unless I've missed some horrendous incident in the house that will single-handedly destroy his chance. Just watching him talk to Rachel - geez, she is such a pain in the a*se. Does she not listen at all?

Arrogant and full of himself at the start. Isolated and the houses' punchbag in the final weeks.
The opposite 'journey' to Freddie.

I think now is the time George. His mood today plus the uproar the new H/M's will cause may just tip him over the edge. I'm happier having some cash back in the pot to play with.
