looks like he's starting to take control of the house and the market.
All geared up for him to win imo, lets face it..he's hardly spoke a word and he's 5.7.
the producers are saying they are going to try and get some of the quieters ones a bit more involved....with his special tasks they have lined up as well, wont be long before he's odds on and stays there.
you've all been warned

Shame on you Kitten for not sticking with our war hero, shame on you..shame on you.

Yes, silly me. I was just amused by the thought of someone constantly talking Steve up and simultaneously quietly laying him. That's obviously not you Army.
Report armagnac June 24, 2010 3:34 PM BST
FLL

its a terrible lay as steve has done nothing, as soon as he gets his task or 15 mins of fame he will go 4.5 ish just like corin did...as i recall i told the forum that corin will go short in the next few days when she was at 6 ish
Report five leaves left June 24, 2010 3:35 PM BST
1000 lay @ 5.5

100o back @ 6.5

Gives me the 1000 green on steve, army ;)
Report armagnac June 24, 2010 3:36 PM BST
im not saying he will win, but i think he's a great trade..we shall see...as long as he goes 4.5 im happy
Report Henry VIII June 24, 2010 3:36 PM BST
I hated Shabby at first, and now don't. So I guess she's doing something. Not sure what yet

I've never hated her although I've been laying her.

My worry is that she has the combination of intelligence and falseness/acting ability to turn around and become nice. The repulsive specimens are normally thick or occasionally, if not thick, a bit psycho (Bea).

Report mach June 24, 2010 3:39 PM BST
at the moment for the viewer things like who is nice, likeable, good entertainment are big factors, final week who is more worthy, who do they want to reward will play bigger,i dont know if it will get steve across the line but 5.5 is good value.

In this thin market handy to know someone is looking to lay 1000 on Steve at 4.5 ;-)
Report armagnac June 24, 2010 3:43 PM BST
i will be laying around that price i believe in not being greedy and you never lose with a green screen Happy
although over time im sure he will hit 3.0, as ive said many times i believe he will come 2nd tbh very close 2nd

It will lead you astray George. You need to know someone else is looking to back at 6.5, so it's balanced.

mach - People are rewarded for what they do in the house.
Steve has done very little.

Corin has been a shoulder to cry on.
Spoke up when JJ kicked off at the dinner table.
Has been funny and entertaining.

I see Corin continuing to do the same.

Don't talk nonsense mach.

People thought Alex Reid was a knob when he went in.
Because he was a good laugh in the house he won.
I remember some saying he couldn't win because everyone hates Jordan.
It didn't matter.
People don't vote on what they read in the press or HM's life outside the house.
They vote on how they come across in the house.
Steve is nice but dull.
Corin is nicer and a colourful character.

Gentle giant Steve will walk over the chavvy, council house style, fake everything lowlife Corin any day.

Will the public give the 100k to a handicap to support his 8 kids and handicap wife, or give it to the chav to spend it on more tanning sessions and fake plastics bits? Who is more worthy?

Report five leaves left June 24, 2010 5:29 PM BST
lol, not yet.

I don't see any reason why he won't go above 6 again.

Part of the reason for his move downwards was JJ and Josie showing their moody sides and drifting.
They've both been calmer the last few days and I can see their prices creeping back down and Steve drifting back out.
Report Guybrush Threepwood June 24, 2010 5:30 PM BST

He's a ridiculous price.
I struggle to see how such a colourless HM gets more than 3 or 4% (and that's being generous) in the final vote.
Mikey was many things but he wasn't colourless. He also had the scottish vote and yet he still came up short.
I don't see any real storylines as he doesn't really get involved.
He spends most of his day talking to Dave about hunting.
He's not funny or witty. He's just a fairly decent but rather dull guy with no legs. I wouldn't mind having a pint with him, but I wouldn't vote for him to win BB. And I doubt many others will either.

spot on. the 'brave war hero' angle that many on this thread seem to be relying on might work on some ITV reality show, but not on Channel 4 and not on BB. he's a decent enough bloke, but a poor HM.
