Be very careful what you read on these pages, I refer to big brother 2007 when I placed a large bet on Brian to win, this forum alone basically convinced the betting world that Samanda would win pushing the price on Brian out to around 7's on the final night, thankfully I stuck to my guns but just wanted to warn people not to believe everything they read on here, I think last nights eviction is a good pointer to this!

I'm not sure people believe anything they read on here, but I find it a good source of opinion and info.

Thanks for the warning though, it shows that you care.

Never understood the shame this forum has for odds-on winners. Best way to bet.

fully agree as long as its a value bet, if your getting 1/4 about a 1/6 you cant go wrong long term

Where did I mention shame?
The more pertinent question should be, why take 3 years to aftertime on a bet - which the subject could have also gained a far better price.

Too many people have a pop at this forum, 99% of the posters on here imo are genuine, with the added fact there a few gems which are definitely worth following.

Out of all the sub-forums I read, this one is probably the most friendly & useful.

Absolutely. I think it's because Specials is about public perceptions.

haha some funny replies to this thread I see! My only reason for posting was as the world cup is on a lot of new people will of joined, I felt the need to warn them about you lot as I remember what happened in 2007, I no longer read the forum on these matters and use my own judgment, and as for aftertiming my bet 3 years later....haha thats brilliant if you really want to know how much I won I will tell you but you wont believe me any way

Go on internet, how much did you win? I like people to be brave about winnings, it's very subdued here normally about such things, very unlike gamblers.

not here to brag and its long since been lost but 1 actually had about 7k on brian at little above evens, I actually opened this account after seeing the price available but as I mentioned after reading this forum for a month or so you would of believed Brian to be the most vile human being alive, he was called every name under the sun but "pervert" rings a bell, he went from 1.4 favourite out to 7's due to the ramping on this forum pushing the price further and further out, just be carefull is all I ask

I'd like to remind you that the forum was correct when the majority said Brian was a lay @1.5

Poor dj told me he was about 90k green on Belo, the adjustment of his book meant that he only won about 7k. Still not an amount to be sniffed at, imo.
