Hi,

I've just upgraded to a smart phone and I must admit that I've been a little disappointed by the current betfair app for android. It appears to have many less features that my old java app for my last phone: -

No facility to view History/Settled Bets.
No InPlay scores.
No manual "refresh" option for your account balance (the automated one is so slow).
No market depth/graphs.

Does anyone from betfair know if there are any plans to include any of these features in the future?

Thanks!!

Hi there,

Thanks for the feedback. You're right - the Betfair for Android app currently only offers a pretty basic betting experience (though it is pretty quick), but we're working hard to get all the features you mention above (and more) in to future versions of the app.

In the meantime, if you go to touch.betfair.com you might find it more to your liking. There are also a host of really cool 3rd party Betfair apps for Android.

Thanks again - please feel free to let me know of any other features you would value.

Thanks guys for your replies...much appreciated.

Please don't get me wrong, I really do like the overall look/feel of the android app, it's just missing some features I think are vital.

I shall try the touch site, whilst keeping an eye out for future android updates to the official app.

Thanks!!
