Hi Vinny,
We're looking in to this. As you know, we have many customers in Ireland who are getting on just fine on BF Mobile so this is rather strange. I'm working with fellow forum user irishro to get to the bottom of it. Sorry about the delay and thanks for your patience. Thanks, BF Mobile |

I live outside Dublin and have experienced the same problem for the past three months on an Iphone. I've reset settings, etc on numerous occasions. I have no problem using these apps via wi-fi but I can't use them on my network (3 Ireland). Three says it doesn't block websites or apps of any sort while Betfair customer service doesn't know of any way to address this because it is obviously a technical IT issue. Any further thoughts on this issue would be appreciated.

It's crap, I get failure everytime I try to log in, told me to go straight to betfair through safari and now I get 'You are trying to log in from a restricted country' tried numerous emails but all I get is clear your cookies, blah, blah

The other option is to try to connect to Touch.Betfair.com, but if the phone is being identified as being in a restricted country.
Could be worth calling your mobile network and ask what IP address your phone is being assigned. It sounds like you've been given an IP address that is in the range of a restricted territory, which can happen from time to time with some networks. |

I found the solution, an App called Ovaro was the problem, removed it and Betfair Mobile now works fine
|
|

There is no such app called ovaro? I have onavo is this it?
Really bad that you have to figure the problem out and betfair are unable to, what do they get paid for? |

Still no answer, posts all over here, terrible reviews all over the app review, yet head in sand and no solution, morons

Hi guys,
We're trying to get to the bottom of this issue, but we need your help in order to do so. What we need from you is very simple and any help would be much appreciated and, hopefully, mutually beneficial. Can those of you that are experiencing this 'authentication failure' or 'restricted country' please visit www.whatsmyip.org on your phone. Here you will find your IP address at the top of the page. Please can you let me know what your IP address is? Thanks in advance for any help, BF Mobile |

I had the same problem. I was using onavo application. I had to remove the onavo profile (Settings->General->Profiles). Onavo was using a usa-based proxy. Now I can login successfully
