I've recently purchased a HTC Desire HD. Can't find a betfair ap on marketplace. I can only find Betacular Viewer, not the ap that allows you to place bets. Is the web application decent enough for using betfair.
Thanks.

Google removed all betting apps from the marketplace. To download the Betfair app go here betfair.com/android

Or you can use the web app which has more features such as deposit and bookmarks.

Betacular is the best one out there imo!

You can download the Android app from the url below(just cut and paste the link)
You will need to go to ‘Applications’ section under the ‘Settings’ menu on your phone and make sure that the checkbox next to ‘Unknown Sources’ is checked
This is the link: http://content.labs.betfair.com/android/BetfairNative.apk

The official Betfair Mobile program is far superior to this Android App mentioned here.

Due to the site problems today, Betfair Mobile wasn't working at all tonight, so I had no choice but to use the Android App for the 1st time, and it was "ok" but nowhere near as user-friendly when placing bets.

You can always give ZoomBet a go - download it here http://goo.gl/MSU5y and let us know how it compares.
