You will want a Desire or Samsung S
I have a Nexus 1 (same as Desire) and a Samsung and both will be fine for using Betfair. Screen is brighter and better in daylight on the Sam S if that is a concern Given that Samsung are slower at upgrading the operating systems though I would go for the Desire. Sod the Iphone as they cost a bomb on T Mob and their reception is iffy, which might be a problem on 3g connectivity if out and about. |

thanks very much. A pal of mine uses the HTC Desire, but he's not a gambler, but does rave about the phone. Any particular HTC you would recommend. I do like the Titanium one. Is the Betfair app on Android similar to the Iphone app or can I use the normal Betfair app I am using at present? Cheers again S.M.

Not sure what the Titanium is? Do you mean the Wildfire? HTC phones are fine but if you can get the Desire thats the one I would go for (or a nexus one ableit T Mob don't do them).
The betfair app for android is just a reskin of the iphone one. It does nothing more or less than that. Alternatively you can just call up the iphone version on the android browser. What would be good is a version that allowed one touch betting for inrunning plays !!!!! |

cheers again. Sorry the HTC Titanium one is the HTC Legend. does the app allow keep bet facility? cheers again.

No keep bets nor one touch. It is really a very basic app that simply allows you to bet at current price or choose your own.
As I said 'very basic' |

The HTC Desire is a very nice device. I wouldn't let the app influence your decision though, the website is the same and will probably work on any phone.
