What is best mobile phone for trading ?

The Java download is definitely the best option for trading given its speed and general reliability. The N95 is very well regarded amongst many people on the forum but there are also BlackBerry fans, which I am one.
I use a BlackBerry Bold 9700 for most of my betting but also have an iPhone and run the Betfair application, which is really quick and reliable (but for UK & Eire only).
They seem to have put out an update on the iPhone App recently so it looks like this is being developed from its currently quite basic look and feel.
The challenge with iPhone is that the battery life is pretty poor, so worth carrying a backup like a BB or N95 if you can't be sure that you'll be able to re-charge.

I have a Blackberry 9000 which is a popular mode. It cannot run the new betfair app, though it ran the old one fine. Wish they'd allowed me to keep the old app as I'd bought the phone especially for betfair mobile.

I bought a cheap RAZR V3 (ebay) as I only need to access the footy in-play markets on Saturdays. As the V3 was in the compatibility list, I assumed it would be compatible (silly me); yet when I asked mobile support why I was receiving the message "Unfortunately your devise cannot support Betfair Mobile" even though it was in the list, I was advised to try Betfair Lite. No football in-play option though.

Is anyone using betfair mobile successfully on an older phone?

After several emails to Mobile support, it turns out that Betfair Mobile is at least 261K; and as the V3 can only handle apps of 100K or less, it's a mystery why it's in the compatability list.

From a forum post, it looks like the Sony Ericsson Zylo is compatible (it's not in the list, so that's a good thing!). Technology, how you tease me...
