iBetMate v1.5.2 released

Can you lay the field with this applicaton, or can you only make individual bets? I want to buy something like this but from what i've seen from the screenshots it seems to have a very limited functionality?

Just found out ibetmate is free now.

When did this happen?

I paid a few weeks ago :(

Rather surprising it's free now, how will they make money? I paid for mine a couple of months back. Won't get anymore updates I guess!

Even though it's free at the moment there will still be future updates ... and we're also working on an iPad version ...

betmateguy......your app isnt quite right in calculating markets with multiple winners.....some of my selections the red and green amounts were wrong. were u aware of that?

betwareGuy, does the current ibetmate upscale ok on the ipad? If the answer is yes then what's going to be changed in the ipad version? A new layout etc?

Giffo: iBetMate does x2 fine on the iPad. The iPad specific version will make good use of the extra screen size with more information, improved layout, the ability to view multiple markets simultaneously etc...

If I've got several unmatched bets on a single event, how do I cancel one of those bets without cancelling all of them?

Same way you delete an email ... give the unmatched bet a swipe then tap cancel.

IMO it doesn't upscale that well to the ipad. Although functionality wise it's the same it just looks VERY pixely.

oh I really would love to see the multiple feature included in the next release.

Anyone else having the same issues as me on 3GS + IOS4, iBetmate has lost all start times for the Horse racing & other sports. Also the app fails to keep you semi logged in! By this i mean, rather than switching to iBetmate & having to login via a 4 digit code...one must type the full password to gain access again.

Pls update this app to be IOS4 compatible...then the app would stay logged in. Cheers.

Have you got it Jailbroken nulay?  i had mine jailbroken for a while and it lost the ability to do that. It works again now since i updtated to latest software.

Hi Starshaped, Yep its JB. I will look at the latest update. Thing is this just started on Thu or Fri...ive been JB ever since ive had this iPhone and only now it starts? I have noticed the new 4.0.2 firmware so maybe this created the issue! Will look at the update soon, really hope that fixes it. Cheers for you suggestion :-)

I explained that wrong,i was on 4.0.1 and it worked fine,i jailbroke it and it stopped working properly,i updated to 4.0.2 and it works fine again now but obviously it's not jailbroken anymore.

is iBetmate actually safe to use?  How do I know that my login details aren't being stolen etc? As this is not an official betfair app

Fair point my lord.  I've been using it 6 months and no hint of foul play.  The best people to ask would probably be betfair.

I take it that it is approved by Betfair otherwise how are the markets populated? doesn't he at least need a feed?

Lord - it's got an 'Betfair Official API Solution' tag on its website www.ibetmate.co.uk so I'm guessing it is authorised by them

Also been using it for months and never has an issue.

I cannot find ibetmate anymore in the app store....help I'm doing my nuts here.

I logged in earlier but it froze, so I deleted it to download again (done this before) and it's not in the app store.

Hi. Recently there has been a problem opening Football Fixtures. It show's the error "Invalid event". Usually this happens only for the current day, and the next days it works fine. But sometimes it happens again. I don't know if it's due to recent betfair changes, due to the maintenance.

For eg, today it's not opening. This is really anoyying.

It's solved, just deleted and re-installed. Ibetmate + iphone rocks!

Only thing really missing, speciallu incomparion to the new android app, is the automatic greening up.
