Betfair mobile helpdesk seem to have been on strike for the past week and ignore my emails!

I have a htc tytn ii

I used to have betfair mobile working on the phone but recently re-installed the os and don't have the jar file anymore.

I have the most current version of java runtime installed and can run very other java application known to man.

BUT I can't download the jar file for betfair mobile as the download page informs me my device cannot run java applications.

Please can someone advise how I can simply download a jar file for running bf mobile on a standard 240

Changed a setting on ie to operate in mobile mode. This got me one step further.

I now receive:
The specified HTTP method is not allowed for the requested resource ()

I have java installed and run numerous java apps without problem.

Finally got it working by getting an email with a link to download directly to my phone.

Clicking on this link once ie has been configured to operate in mobile and no desktop mode worked fine for me. Copy the link into ie and ensure the useless opera does not try and do the download as it won't work.

I have a Samsung Galaxy I7500. It works with Android 1.5. It seems a Android mobile doesn´t work with betfair mobile.

muqbil that link will only work on your phone, i've got betfair to work on my phone , set IE to main broswer, put browser on mobile phone setting instead of desktop, go on betfair mobile site and put phone number in.
this worked for me after trying many times

Antchri - if you can't get the download to work on your Android phone try http://iphone.betfair.com or https://lite.betfair.com They are both browser based but work well for me on my Nexus.
