Westbrook at the top of the market.
Can he win it from a non playoff team? I doubt it. Same goes for Anthony Davis who will probably put up MVP numbers, although I think the Pelicans have a better chance to sneak into the post-season.

Cleveland will win the title but the MVP is still up for grabs.
LeBron is still the best player and since his first of 4 MVP's in 08-09 I think the only player to truly play at a higher level than him has been Curry. LeBron hasn't been given the MVP in the last three seasons and I don't see him doing anything different this season. He's probably due though as Curry and Durant who between them have won the last 3 MVP's will have to adjust and probably compromise their own games this season.
After watching the opening nights games and seeing most teams, the players that stand out are Lillard, Davis & Kawhi Leonard. Davis is still at 22/1 and Lillard 25/1. Cant back Lebron, curry, westbrook at their 7/2-5/1 prices. Even though Davis & Lillard have a heavy weight of lifting a **** team to the playoffs, if Davis can get New Orleans there and continue having games like he did last night andddddddd stay injury free, he should get the mvp.
Yeah I think Leonard is a big show. He is a factor at both ends of the floor, Spurs will win plenty of games and it looks like he is set to up his scoring average this season.

Warriors and Durant put Westbrook in his place. I still think Thunder are a .500 team, they won't win a game if Westbrook doesn't play.
Davis already starting to wear down, I think we can rule him out.
Westbrook's whole season revolves around winning the MVP, despite LeBron being the much better player Westbrook will probably get it.
I think once the Pelicans get Tyreke back they'll make a run. I think they'll finish in front of OKC.
Harden is painful to watch, he looks for the foul too much. I cant see him winning mvp.
It's wide open. Russ vs Brow today and Russ seems to have brought his A game.
Personally I'd like to see the MVP go to a player from a team who has a legitimate chance to win the title.
I dont mean to hate on Harden, pound for pound he is probably the strongest player in the league. He is as good a chance as Westbrook in my opinion. For me though, LeBron is the best player in the league easily.
Swap LeBron with any other MVP candidate and I wonder what their title odds would crunch into?
Plus I think Kyrie is the second best point guard in the comp behind Steph Curry. Thats why I think the Cavs will win the title again this season and LeBron should be MVP.
OKC will finish 8th in the west and scrape into the playoffs, the only team that can knock them out are the Pelicans which looks unlikely at this stage.
LeBron should be mvp. He's easily in the top 2 of all time, he's the only player who comes close to MJ.

Love that little guy! Mr 4th quater. Its crazy to think a few years back we had Harden, Westbrook and Durant on the same team! And they didnt get a ring.
