These markets are low enough liquidity as it is - why on earth do betfair think it's a good idea to further dilute the money?

I could sort of understand it if the two markets had wildly different handicaps/totals (allows further trading in-play if the line shifts a lot), but they have (on the same match) +7.5 / +8.5pts and o/u 165.5 / o/u 166.5pts markets on offer today - this is just stupid. They haven't a clue what they're doing.

One of tonight's WNBA games has three points total markets, each 1 pt higher than the last. It is unfathomable.

sometimes they put up an extra 1 pt line when arbing scum ask for it - but it was on every euro qualifier today
as you say, makes no sense at all
