Can anyone remember gay Icarus / Sobar or Leilani winning this Cup

The way the first 4 races have been run very very hard to see any swoopers getting home ---not good news for some of the Cup fancies

RACE 4 WINNER --5.00'S into 3.80--thats a big big GO on a day like this--Cliffs Edge--paid 3.30 on tatts/ubet-----the big firm was on the jump----one second prior to the jump was $4.20

Seems to be a day of jockey brain snaps --too fast early/too far back silly mid race sprints---D Lane seems to be the only one sticking to the basics.
