Hmmmm - very serious question --will try and rank in an order-----give me bit of time----your list however is a GREAT start---Note that it is qualified by Miracle Mile so list will be with that in mind.

The great Mount Eden

Ok ok --- will start some serious thinking here

Village Kid leads with Westburn Grant on his outside--neither Vic Frost or Chris Lewis prepared to give an inch

Preaux and Jack Morris sit on their backs with --Jack Morris giggling in the one out and Preux sweating on a run

Young Quinn -on fence- and Blossum Lady is outside with Mount Eden last

Turning for home Westburn Grant tires Jack peels out and Preau looking for the way through

In a blink of an eye Mount Eden circles and rounds them up with the placings

2. Village

3. Preaux

4. Jack Morris

Curiously--Westburn leads on the fence with Village facing the breeze---Westburn wouldnt crack as quick and Village would still be there at the finish--- placings to be

Hondo Grattan was just a bit before my time. I remember Koala King but I'm not convinced he was as good as those others

I was serious about trots and racing from the late 70's to late 90's and again since 2010. There's a gap of about 15 years in there where I was focused on personal stuff. I missed the Sunline era, Lohnro, etc

Ahhh but you still got in the important era---Vo Rogue //Stylish Century/Placid Ark etc--

Placid Ark was one of my favs of all-time. I also only said Miracle Mile because I wanted to limit the field to 6, then 8, then 10 ...

My eldest daughter -now 30 plus took her first steps at Albion PARK--was there Saturday /Wednesday/  Redcliffe trots - Friday and yes Rocklea Saturday afternoons

Anyway -old man ramble starting so will stop-----

Funny I should mention Placid ARK --one of your favs of all time--thats a big statement ----

In your MM--there was no scenario where Village doesnt lead--any draw---it would have been on like donky kong if any other resisted ----even the very very speedy Westburn which is why I had Village leading Westburn.
