TAB went to 8 starters some years ago. They HAD to make it a 3 dividend event - pr*cks !!! Watched it live many times at Harold Park when it was only 6 starters. It was a REAL race where all 6 had a crack - very enthralling. Now it's just another race.

I actually backed Lenny so quite happy, but those drawn out wide found it really tough going. True the 10 lead but burned to take the lead. Quinella numbers were 6 and 1, I think. Favourite (8) ended up 3 wide for the last 400.
