Its going to be a Hard 5 years for me, but after watching The Journey. I like Bolten.
Still think Blues can win every game this year. And will never give up.
They will scare a couple of teams 1st halves but expect them to be run down.
Keep Building and will be a Powerhouse again.

No natanui no WCE no home final, no WCE.
A shocker by north. Rated 25 best player in the league. What were/are they thinking?
There is light at the ebd of the tunnel. 4 or 5 kids who could be grears of the game will get a chance now. Kids like vikers-willis,ryan clarke, trent dumont, ben mackay (possible super star)in the future.mason wood, sam durdin, declan mountford, corey wagner, kayne turner.
Future 100-200 game players.

Forget about this year. The shock announcment has shot their year. Though i wish a miracle they play WCE in melb.  Only chance of a finals win Wink

Don't be surprised if the Eagles knock off Adelaide boys, I am convinced Adelaide's midfield is their achilles heel.
Eagles are at an absolutely ludicrous price they'll give the Crows all they can handle and then some.
The Eagles win last week had very little to do with Naitanui it was an all round team effort and their across the board relentless pressure and hunting of the hawks that won them that game if they bring that again they'll roll Adelaide.
Report Lets Elope August 26, 2016 3:58 AM BST
People conveniently forget that Naitanui went for tendon surgery straight after the first Adelaide game and was struggling and ineffective in that game due to his achilles issues, the eagles are in much better form now and apart from Naitanui are close to full strength and they also now have Dom Sheed gradually running into some form again. If they don't win they'll give the Crows an almighty fright.
Report Lets Elope August 26, 2016 1:23 PM BST
Probably no need to but just layed off at 1.03 the eagles, well done boys,Cool sensational performance, maybe this will silence the knockers. HappyHappyHappy
Don't say you weren't told either, I also told you repeatedly how important a fit and healthy Dom Sheed is to this team as well and he'll only keep getting better and if Barrass doesn't get the rising star nomination this week then  the people responsible for selections are fari dinkum playing with themselves it's absolutely mindboggling how he doesn't have one already.
Report megsy August 26, 2016 2:32 PM BST
Ok lets hand off the tool. Yes they played 4 quarters of good hard football.come good at the right time. Did i say all that?ExcitedScared
Anyway you be hoping that overrated north melb to beat GWS to get a home final. I guess its up to north, wce in WA or Adelaide in sth aus. Both fortresses. Prefer adelaide.WA has skinny oval not suited for north..  which ever team they play. Home ground advantage is easily 6 goals in a final
Report Lets Elope August 26, 2016 3:02 PM BST
I suggest you get your hands off it mate I declared beforehand that the odds were ludicrous, didn't anyone watch their performance last week, I also declared what people should have known that Naitanui had nil influence in the first Adelaide game and immediately went for surgery following it as he was severely hampered by the tendon issues affecting his achilles.

I also categorically stated that the eagles were in far better form now than when they dominated the Crows for 3/4 at subi and then went bye byes in the final quarter, that loss and the Collingwood loss could still come back to haunt them but their is no team in better form going into the finals now.

Over the past three weeks they have put together away wins against GWS (twice coming from 23 points down during that game) pummeled the Hawks last week and destroyed the Crows on the road, they've got a full head of steam now but its still going to be difficult but you can't do any more than win and win impressively. against quality opposition.

Sheed  fit and healthy and on the rise again just gives them that extra quality rotation through the midfield which they've been sadly lacking for much of the year and if Jetta can fire up and he showed some good signs again tonight at various stages who knows what can happen especially in the form that Kennedy is in,

Despite Darling missing all those sitters (unusual for him) he had me pulling my hair out at the time as if he kicked even half of them the game would have been inthe bag far earlier than it was he still played well and is in good form, Shuey, Gaff and Priddis were outstanding and Barrass showed who's the quality young defender really is
If those adjudicating the rising star actually bothered to watch him play all season he would be just about winning the rising star, instead incredibly up until now he hasn't been nominated.

All it does is again clearly illustrate  the unbelievable Eastern States bias that saw Justin Koschitzke in 2001 win it ahead of Daniel Kerr again a decision that still boggles the mind and justt for good measure the following year Saint Nick win it ahead of Chris Judd.

Riewoldt was very good that season but Judd was out of this world from the moment he stepped onto the footy field.

Anyway that's ancient history and its no surprsie to us  over here as we're used to it by now and don't really expect it to be any different given those two classic examples.

Weitering is going to be very good but Barrass is something pretty special and has shown it  from day one, last year he was nowhere ready body wise and had to be thrown in at the deep end and showed plenty so look out in the future because this bloke is an absolute gun.

i wouldn't be getting too excited after beating adelaide lets. Adelaide has been overrated all year imo, they are weak and haven't run out too many games this year. And when their best player is out, and also the player that has been carrying the midfield all year, Sloane ... well you know what can happen when up against a good midfield. Adelaide has been convincingly beaten by four of the other seven teams in the eight..... nothing to get carried away with imo.

Back to the footy. North will get absolutely flogged by hawthorn. Now lost their book ends and depleted as the 2nd half has shown. Cant believe browns replacement is a highly promising kid, a mid fielder who was left out of the side due to soress is browns replacement.

Still sticking to my statement. WCE overrated imposters with a full list are greatful north have so many injuries. WCE will not win another game this year. They ave 67 points for playing interstate. Brisbane like.

Eaglesd performance symptomatic of their entire season very o inconsitent, all credits tot he dogs as I've said all year amazing effort fromthem considering the injuries they've suffered all year. They comprehensively outplayed us form the outset, Eagles weren't able to put any pressure ontheir kickers or bal carriers at virtually any stage, pathetic effort really and arguably a wrose performance than in last years Grand Final because this was at home. Never inthe entire history of the have they performed so poorly in a final played at home, got w exactly what e they deserved, a wasted year hopefully a few wil go away and take good long hard at themselves as were thinking they were a lot better than what they were.
North's performance's arguably a lot worse, they were nine and zip and scraped into the finals by the skin of their teeth.
Eagles were always pushing **** uphill until late very late in the season. No contest as to who is a worse side and as to whom will be dropping off the cliff, Dog act to terminate Harvey.

Wow just looked up the 18 team injury lists. WCE has the shortest injury list and i think of the past 3 weeks the should have lost the 3. Carlton so unlucky not to have won.
Easy draw has helped them stay in the top 8. Thinking st kilda or port melb had a better chance.
Whoever gets the WCE in the first week of the finals has a arm chair ride...o er rated in my opinio

GWS will be in the grand final. Cant see hawks or doggies beating them. Sadly imo looks a sydney GWS grand final.

On the also rans. ADEL AND WCE have a 6 goal advantage at home. Loses to WCE by 48 and north by 61
My calculations north did a better effort than the wimpy WCE.
North with a depleted unsettled side done exceptionally well considering and gave 3 goals away in the last few minutes when the game was truely over . Bullies get the injured back but not fully battle harden and belted the sh*t out of WCE. 48 plus the 36 point advantage = 84 points

WCE one year away from rebuilding. Way to many players 29 + next year. The current group wont win jack sh*t
Report VeryLTU September 11, 2016 12:46 AM BST
yep ... scott rightly blamed all the injuries to the core group for norths eventual demise. Maybe north needs a biochemist and a scientific program based on experimentation to counter the etihad effect WinkWinkCool. He made plenty himself, imo, though and for norths sake i hope he gets it right with the kids coming in next year. Have heard from insiders at north that two or three of them will be v. good players.

Can't wait to see the look on chris scott's face if it's GWS V Geel !!! and steve johnson starts kicking goals from every point of the compass Grin

Dream on Megsy, your coach might not even be there next year abandoning ship to try to resurrect Brisbane or so the rumours go, it would want to be a long term deal.

One thing for sure is that long term he'll be working with a great deal more talent than North currently has.

No excuse I know but half the Eagles had the flu, might explain why they were so sluggish all night, effort was still pitiful but it explains a bit.
