Why not look at all 3 and see which one suits you best

Taurus, I had the same problem about 2 years back. I'm sorted now. My main question to you is; What will be your purpose of a database?
Is it to store comments? numeral ratings? both? |

Melbourne races I have form in a % and fitness in a %, it's a huge edge and easy for data base entries.

Abercrombie, the key thing is accurate ratings but I also want to store comments.

accurate ratings
good luck there Taurus fake race classes that don't transpose to next weeks classes ... crazy track biases ... incompetent (just being kind) jocks ... all lead to the obvious question ... what exactly is an accurate rating ? the best bet might be to specialise on ... just one state .. and better still just one track ... and get to know it intimately and then triple your stakes in your own 'backyard' and all the best when you part with ... your cash ... (caveat emptor) I'd be asking for past ratings files from two years ago at no cost to test first (so you aren't using them next week for example) then do your own followup from the results back then an honest service ... which backs up its ratings ... would give you past access in the hope of your couple of grand potential payup ... if it looks okay ... wouldn't they ? |

![]() I was only teasing you henry Taurus I believe was asking about the accuracy of historical database records in regards to ratings the factors that affect accuracy of historical data are linked imo to fake race classes, crazy track biases, and whether or not horses were ridden out at the finish or given the best opportunity in running which impact the final numerical rating false data entry from a past race could lead to possible misinterpretation of data prediction in the future ... and like Taurus I would be wishing to have past data to be as accurate as possible and a recommendation or not form another punter who has tested that data would be invaluable if you could get a hold of data from a year ago from the seller then you could examine it for subtle errors like the missing of corrections for stewards reports etc now the "accuracy of ratings" that you mention henry are a different type ... you are talking about predictive ratings for the future race ahead where the skill of data interpretation & assessment is a whole new ball game but good to see you are still following Jim / VB ![]() |
