I don't know about you guys but Freo at above evens is one the best bets of the year for me. Freo have a week advantage, Hawks have had 3 plane flights in the space of 2 weeks, history shows that team with the week off wins more often than not and add to this, the hostile environment of Perth. I don't buy into the argument the Hawks had an 'easy' game in the semi-final, that win will have still taken a bit of energy sapped out of them.
West Coast will account the Roos.
Either way its going to be one fascinating finals.

Freo's form has been poor for at least the last three months and they're nowhere near their early season form, hopefully they'll knock the stuffing out of one another but the Hawks own freo and will be too good.

There have been 3 preliminary Finals under the 'Final 8 format' in Western Australia (1 at the WACA and 2 at Subiaco Oval). Quite surprisingly, 3 of those games have had scored accumulated of: 173, 170 and 169. Think the Hawks V Freo game will be fairly cagey and the West Coast V Roos game to be a bit more-free flowing. Roos best chance of knocking off West Coast is to keep the game scrappy, low-scoring and they will hope for maybe a bit of rain around.
Yeah, Freo for mine too at those odds. Yes Hawks gave them a touchup last time, but Freo very fresh, and playing at home. They have had the ability to manage their players the best, and Ross Lyon the best in the business. He would have done plenty of homework on the West Coast game, and think Freo good enough to win here and ultimately lose next week as either team is on a hiding to nothing against West Coast.

Umpires killed them off in the first half. Can't go up against Hawthorn and the umpires. Playing second fiddle from the start. Ruined a good game.
Just saw the video of a Freo male fan assaulting a female supporter at the game last night. Threatening her and physically hurting her, sorry guys but that is not on.

There are sadly more than enough morons in every aspect of society now unfortunately, never had this sort of craap before and I've been going to the footy regularly since I was 7 or 8, its getting really bad and that sort thing of just isn't on. People need to step back and have a good hard look at themselves as at the end of the day it is only just a game. I also think it's about time alcohol was no longer sold at games as well if they really want to stamp this sort of thing out and I know all the drinkers will vehemently disagree with me but do you really need to have drink to enjoy a game of footy? Combine that with idiots being hopped up on ice and all sorts of shiiit and you have a recipe for disaster.

did anyone watch the 1991 Grand Final at Waverley? Maybe I was a bit too young but my first ever AFL game I watched was the 1992 grand final
I don't know about you guys but I reckon most of the Dockers fans will get on the Eagles bandwagon next week and support the WA team.
I did remember i think hiring a video out to watch the 1991 Grand Final. Both teams were pretty good back then, my favourite Hawks players in that era were: Dunstall, Langford and Platten.

classic game...pity umpires ruin it which got the wce going and the crowd behind it..a crying shame.

Looks like we didn't have to wait long to see a team on par with the great Lions team of the early 2000's
