It's a hard competition to win but this bloke is now the most annoying person on Sky.  Tries to cover his total incompetence with passion.  Some may like that but actually listen to what he has to say.  Legless

Doing what he does best again tonight. Having a lot of chats and then claiming the tips are off his own bat.

Have seen Preux/Village and others but the most outstanding and most  impressive looking of all in stature and strength was actually Jack Morris (no joke).

until they phucked the interdom carnival thanks to nsw.

Yes the betting ring with the bookies...Bobby Travis etc etc ..G Barry and Pippos Place bookies... even 2 place bookies back then.... (cant recall if Gallagher or Olgivie was there that night...) ...

I was one of the four rails bookies, who worked at that Inter. We also had the satellite stand on the floor above.

I had big result on the final, after working prepost on it and laying both Master Musician and Chokin to NZ connections. Chokin didn't even line up for the heats, and Master Musician from memory went amiss during the series.

Wife and I were at Silks that night....(as we were every other AP meet...immediately in line and adjacent to winning post)

Recall there being a bookie stand within SilksLove

Castiron..if you were regular bookie there and not just for Interdom....definitely definitely know each other....(had more hair back then Happy)

And importantly..unlike many friends passed away we are still here to reminisce Wink[

Some characters back then.....many both would know....catch up one day Castiron.....(better stop before I go down that long long memory lane Whoops)

The bookie stands on the Silks level were by the escalator.

The follow up to the Young race down the bottom of the page.

It appears leading on 1/2 mile tracks without sprint-lanes just ain't as popular as it used to be.

Amazing scenes........

Watched Bathurst R2 with interest tonight. Interesting Turnbull SAT BACK this time when Ash was in the breeze and he wasn't going to get it gifted to him. I guess you could say good tactics all round Plain

Now he's bagging the quality of horse racing in the Sunraysia. Preferred it when his mate Cramp ruled the roost and there was no competition and long odds on favs ruled.
