yep, i'm getting sick and tired of them being allowed to weigh out a half over with the presumption they will lose half a kilo from the ensuing effort. nine out of ten come back to scale and weigh in still a half over. Another 5 riders did exactly this, agaaaaiiinnn, at flem. saturday. The luckiest was V. Duric, agaaaaiiiinnn, who managed to sneak Late Charge home by a few centimeters while a half over ..... and, for the first time in ages, i was also happy/lucky to be on..... but that's not the point. Fix it up please RV.

I didn't mention how it is a complete DISASTER at any time  I didn't mention that its' attempt to create valuable tools for the analyst are RIDICULOUSLY STUPID and would inspire a punter much as a can of mortein inpsires a fly. I didn't mention that the dills who screwed up the TAB site must now be employed at RV  I didn't mention that people are actually ringing up RSN and saying that RV's advice to make the site work is to ..... buy a new computer I didn't mention that RISA is the only alternative that people are praying doesn't get turned into a camel either ..... i tipped this would happen with the new brains at RV, new websites, plants in racing stables, rules to kick people out of their leases...... lol... what next ??? |

thanks VK - i don't bet through the Tatts site, took the Devonport quaddie on here because of the 50% bonus, sucked me in and I just missed
Very - do you really think 1/2 a kg either way makes that big a difference? I do take weights into account a little but not to that degree |

Womble, even the most casual punter (the "mug") would admit that weight makes a difference.
So if you don't believe 0.5kg makes a nose difference, then you also don't believe that 20kg would equal a neck? (20 * nose = approx. neck) |

i agree it all makes a difference whoopi but as Very has pointed out the jockeys are allowed .5 over and can weight out .5 under so there is 1kg we don't know about - why i don't really worry about them until we are talking bigger differences

that's a bit cynical whoopi, i'm sure the effect of weight burden on an animal is not a linear relationship
"straw that broke the camels back" indicates an acute hyperbolic relationship Like vltu drinking VB in fact ... 20 cans/5 hours vltu drives the car home incident free and ready for removing partners clothing etc. etc. 22 cans/5 hours...... vltu ... sp..stic on the tram ready to barf on passengers... imo  |
