hardly dynamite leaders track bad workmen blaming their tools apart from race 2 and race 6 which I missed the cleaner is the only one to lead and win. The cleaner winning is just an indictment on the horses that went around in the race. How far would akavaroun have won by if you're taking a line through the cleaner

Spoon how was your day, one of the few things I did wrong was not back lucia valentina which I gave a chance to and laying the cleaner small  for a win and a place in a race I was really going to be in invovled in just couldnt believe it 4was .8, 4.7 in the bloody feehan, clearly a a very substandard edition of the feehan this year and also had something small on lidari and the offer. However I did back panzer division strong and saved on shoot to win should have had the quinella and haven't had the heart to check what it payed  layed entirely platinum who I thought was millions for both a win and a place and backed hawkspur small and criterion,  lumped on zarantz at belmont but missed leonorasensation who was extremely impressive on debut at pinjarra at 15's the other day and today in a much stronger race they backed it for squillions. Also after the cleaner won I chickened out and didn't lay tiger tees and weary  and rain affair & target in sight in their races.
As you know Im not a natural layer of horses but have decided that there are way too many horses going around at ludicrously short prices that basically have very little chance of winning that i just have to get used to laying them and backing in my judgment, at the very least I'm going to use those lays to cover my various back bets in a particular race as much as possible.

Did I mention I backed the card at Melton, Globe Derby, Menangle, and Albion Park tonight? That followed backing the card at all gallops tracks in Australia today, other than the last at Morphettville. Boy did I feel silly when I got that one wrong

Well, seeing you asked, I shall offer my days error riddled strategies and overview of what I remember from the yard.

Little too much thinking about horses background's or perceived "form" from me today.

Convinced myself the first was a dirty race. Had Mulaquen pegged with Fulgur and others of similar Waller types who seem to

just "go around" down here.  Horse looked a picture today and I wasn't aware it was blinkers on first time

Anyhoo, thought I'd just throw a $25 double on with W Heath but was unimpressed with $2.80 ($21 the double) and threw it on

with Vizhaka instead ($52 the double) Greedy Dickhead

R2. Unimpressed with T N Hurley, it went poorly. Acapela looked as good as it could and I was happy to be on her ew.

There was good money for her...every chance....ordinary tomato...barred.

R3.Several good types here, notably Breath Of Life. Caveka nice leggy type bu still looks raw to me, future's bright.

Backed a couple including Hawking who looked to overrace? and ran well under those circumstances...can win one, imo

R4. Had Vizhaka and W Heath on top from the yard, had Viz runnin for a k so was happy to back the winner to collect half

that. Vizhaka ...just a horse  

R5. If it was 6f I would have happily layed L Rupee. ( I know he wouldn't have been as short ) as he was well short of

his best . 1000m thought he'd simply get away with it. CAUTHEN is a great type and Orujo looked terrific, not disgraced.

Played small on L Lolly and Pittsburgh Flyer as none were really impressing me and prob shoulda left R6 alone

completely. P Flyer still has improvement, L Lolly goin awful, barred. Lotsa ordinary "fitness levels"

and plenty of improvement in the spruik horse, Pickin' Time.....yawwwwwn race.

R7. "Thinking" actually worked for me as I was concerned about The Cleaners habit of smashing a field up and

therefore played small on The Offer....impressive type, looking REALLY well and ran terrific I thought.

and on Lidari.....also ran well. Foundry looked even burlier than he was last week and went worse and

Crackerjack King presented well as I expected and was far from disgraced.

R8. Tricky I thought.

Pyrrolic looked great but couldn't back it, (thinking ) wants further imo, ran well. St.Jean looked good but no

better to me than last time so whilst I like him I let him run against me....goes GOOD. Heywood looked as

ordinary as I've seen him..went like it. O V Prince just warming up looked ok and ran ok...on track. Two horses presented

well, KAPOUR ( I backed ) likely type...strange ride, money for it.....forgive it I suggest....and Caravan Rolls On looked

well and may be in for a good prep...stayer?

R9. Spirit's Dance needed the run...L O Belfort presented well and ran well, he'll find a race methinks.

ATLANTE....lovely horse, a little pretty but looked terrific.... if it wasn't $6 to $10 I'd have had more on.

Not sure who is making who look like a fool Let's. The only pre event tips I have seen from of late were David Hercules, got smashed (supposedly the second best horse around ), Geelong who were never a hope, laying The Cleaner oh dear, and North who have claimed are roadkill win a final from more than 5 goals down.

Not got one right before the event in over a week

Keep posting after the event, people just think self praising after timers are morons. I would just love to see you get somethin, anything, right before the event

1. I wasn't bemoaning my bet size in the last...having 200 at $5 isnt really any different than 100 at $9, my issue was the

continued day-trend of "thinking".

2. What about the run of M Y H O Famer...It Is Written. Gonna struggle with weights but gee he's a beauty.

3. Like to see an improved dart-throwing output from some posters. Don't like to single people out but...

Just before I left today, who pops up in the M Yard but SCHNELLER recognised him as one I'd backed at

Caulfield with G Boss on board and well supported that day. Never looked comfortable at all.

On closer inspection, the only others I know at Bendigo.....are in the same race

C Harmony racing to it's looks lately (well) and Laohu has presented "big" recently so expect it to look improved.

I won't get to "see" it or it's opposition on TVN so I'll be doing no more than having 20 on at SP for an interest.

Had a double going into him should have realised it wouldn't run for linda meech, needs a strong rider to stand over it a bit, had something on diamond glow it may have been the track but didn't like the way it hung under pressure it just may have too many problems, will need to find a weak race currently, if anywhere near its old form it should have spanked those today.

Yeah its an embarrassment to be a listed race, our fields are shocking at the moment, zarantz would walk it in and it won its first saturday race last week, bunch of very average plodders lining up its a 110k with the kal cup worth more just a week later. Its amazing someone hasn't slipped something across with some ability as they would walk it in. Something like marksmanship would win both by 6 with its head on its chest.
