Interesting to see Moment Of Change put  pressure on Sweet Idea all the way in a very very quick ran race considering the track surface on the day, no wonder MOC was stuffed at the finish and lengths off the winner.   Nolen seemed pissed off after the race, obviously riding to instructions from trainer.   Sacrifice his ride to set it up for Dissident.   By the way a courageous run by Sweet Idea to keep going and finish for 2nd, should have won the race under normal circumstances.   Without the hot speed Dissident would not have won.   And guess what.?  Peter Moody owns Dissident.......COINCIDENCE or not.?  In the interests of the owners maybe an idea to relocate Moment of Change to a different stable after that disgrace, cost em Three Hundred Thousand there. Sad.

You are a fool.  Moment Of Change pulled up with torn muscles.  If the pressure was so great why did Sweet Idea run 2nd?  Plain and simple fact was they ran to the map and Moment Of Change went badly because he was injured.

No idea re AFL and even less with racing.  Those with conspiracy theories = losers

I certainly can't defend his opinions. Mischief

From casting doubt over Peter Snowden's ability as a trainer (how's he travelling now? Cool) to the epic

Moody must have lost the recipe eh? Or only had enough Unicorn Penis juice for ONE horse? Laughable. if it wasn't libelous.

Now that I think of it.......fire away Okhaden. Laugh

Sore muscles because of the silly tactic to enhance the speed......think outside the square dikchead.   Very frusrating for me dealing with imbosiles who think its a perfect world.

LaughYou'd better let everybody know EXACTLY how fast the leaders should go in the next Group 1 race, eh?

Just put your mobile number up in the Jockey's room and Trainer's bar an hour before the race.

...hmmmm, perhaps an announcement on RSN at 0900 raceday would be fairer for the punters. Crazy

Interesting to see Moment Of Change put  pressure on Sweet Idea all the way in a very very quick ran race considering the track surface on the day,

are you on something there MM?
4 races Saturday over 1400 came out first 800 in
3YF 48.3 L600 36.4
4yo+ mares 48.7 L600 35.26
Open 48.60  L600 34.78
GROUP 1 WFA 48.5 L6090 34.22

MM for Group 1 horses 48.50 is half pace compared to the other fleas on the day, that's why they could sprint home in 34.22 ,suggest do some study next time .........you had 4 races to compare and looking at the others you are out of line

Not to mention dissident was 15's and Moment of Change massive unders and Dissident was always going to get the pie ride in transit Moment of change went just ok first up in a pretty average race no doubt in my mind who will turn out the better horse in just in case you forgot  dissident's Golden rose run was unbelievable  and by the time he got to the caulfield guineas he was clearly over the top, He followed that up with a very good autumn prep and with natural improvement and maturity looks to have come on again and as spoon will probably testify he looked terrific in the yard and is a horse on the way up still while a moment of change isn't going to get any better he may maintain his  previous level but can't see him improving any further. Dissident was the one with all the up side to its form and moody gave what I thought was a god push for it in the tvn interview only a couple of minutes prior to the race.
You're yet again way off base Mike.

when moody's chiro says the horse has torn muscles...... you can believe it !!! at least moody does, that other great sprinter of his was retired 5 minutes after the chiro found 6 torn muscles from the previous sat. The memsie went just like i said it would from stats .... the young stud and studettes (only 2 of them in the race btw.. dissident and sweet idea.... errrr that's the quinella ??)got the chockies on the good track.... and the oldies pulled up sore.
Report VeryLTU • September 3, 2014 2:43 AM BST
..and talking about trainers mistakes, i'd give the gong to gai for using froggy on an on pacer in a 1400m race. just doesn't work, froggy is not the greatest judge of front running pace and that's half the reason his horse was gassed 200 from home not necessarily moc doing what he does normally anyway... imo.

Torn muscles my arse.....As for the great mare, if she started her racing career this  spring more than likely would not win that many races.  The new steroid ruling has certainly finished that.  How the Trainers and vets got away with abuse of substances for years stll amazes me.

agree chante moody is circumspect about the 2000m though so may not go the Cox though, think it may have stepped up and come back a better horse but you have to respect and take into account his thinking about the horse, I personally think the cox plate is the logical target but if moody's right maybe not. Am looking forward to seeing Our Voodoo Prince return on saturday to see if can justify his place in the cups markets
