Anyway salary cap will be gone in a few years.....10 year contract to Buddy says that, obviously thats how he got so much cash. Collingwood members, supporters and players cant prop up 40% of AFL income forever, its illegal its holding back competition. Collingwood have been the salvation army of the AFL for long enough.

You are right Mike, Collingwood should not prop anyone up. So let's make sure they don't play on Anzac Day for the next 10 years, and don't play at the MCG every week. Let's give those games to the Bulldogs, St Kilda and North for a few years. Then all clubs can have an equal share of revenue and no one will need Collingwood's share.

Blair would be a excellent trade, while he has value would be an idea to shop around for tall backmen. Would be the first step forward of many towards 2015. Buckleys coaching career looks shaky if he fails the first half of 2015 also.

Clubs who judge coaches on what they achieve when decimated by injury are foolish.
Blair has little value on the market. You won't get anything worthwhile for him. Pendlebury might get a little interest, you could maybe swap him for Shaun Grigg at Richmond, win-win. |

Harry O looks good in a good side. Yes he makes space but is borderline soft and has had an ordinary two years which show he is a passenger. Hard to pot Cloke. Had the ball kicked to him badly all year and was often in 2 on 1 situations due to the fact that no side had any respect for Jesse White. If you want to say Shaw was sacked then fine but not for his ability. Buckley just cannot cop anyone with a personality. So we know have all well mannered young men with not a hint of mongel in them....and it is not a great mix with limited ability. |

Shaw got $650K a years, Dawes got $450K a year. From a mathematical point of view Harry would have to be worth 700 to 800K....Geez with those prices arent the other clubs in awe of the Pies. That would put Pendlebury at 1.5 Mill. Swan 1.2 Mill.

His disposal is nothing short of atrocious and always has been, wouldn't think there will be too many queuing up for his services especially seeing he consistently thinks he and his issues with everything are more important than what's good for the team. An absolute **** of the highest order.

No one is more critical of Masten than me but credit where credit is due he's improved his kicking immensely, his work rate is huge and he had a very good year and was far from being their worst player. Harry 's idea of disposal is just banging it on the boot as quickly as possible and hoping it goes somewhere near one of his teammates, atrocious was probably underselling how poor his disposal consistently is.
