betfair just told me they are aware of the problem affecting certain ISP providers.

They can't give an fix time, but are presumably working on it.

if its telstra broadband sydney have "scheduled" maintenance and will prob be down until 3pm this arvo

otherwise check your local isp if not telstra

i am with telstra broadband cable

when they were having system issues they seemed to provise a 'restricted' service where some web sites and pages would load and others wouldn't

when they had issues typically it was betfair market style pages that wouldn't load

i got around that with a voda mobile usb broadband connection that i switched to as backup ... worked fine as an interim measure ($15 a month) ... it usually just sits there unused for the month but cheap enough as an 'internet' backup service for my primary home pc
