i really like it, dont see how an inter would have been better than that...

the fact is the old inter series has been shelved never to return and i say good riddance because i all remember is the heats being ranked so the top horse could just thump everyone for 2 runs and then face 1 other good horse in the 3rd heat before walking into the final where we finally see a good race

nothing will change while administrators are so scared of a horse missing the final that they'll rank heats to make it easy for them and if they get beaten on their merits they'll give them a run anyway - as a spectator i want to see 3 good competitive races and a great final, not 2 walk overs, 1 so so race and a great final

I think the concept worked. Something a bit different and can only get better.

First time that I have been to the red hots in 20 years, and was surprised at the crowd. Thought that the concept was excellent and including the monte on the night made it all round success.
