I used to be a tram driver there but I was viciously beaten one day by a gang of patriotic union delegates from Sheffield because I helped an elderly war veteran onto the tram.

Actually it was a very long time ago. Maybe I threw an old war veteran off the tram. Can't remember exactly. It was something to do with a useless old cnnt,some shop steward arceholes from PommyLand and Bill Shorten.

Doesn't get much better than yesterday for those of us afflicted with an Equine perversion.

Gave up on the pre-parade ring after the first. Horses heading out in dribs and drabs and some of them

sneaking against the traffic, heading straight down the tunnel....unseen

For the future, I have also arranged for the C O Course ponies to munch down those pesky roses at my designated spot.

Settled for a spot near the tunnel EXIT....which also made the journey to Womble's World on the border of West Footscray 

much easier. Had a cider , good to catch up again.

Admitted defeat in the Guineas before the race....predictably, toooo many rockstars and 98% fit horses.

Apart from that, found the winner in 7 of the other 8 races.......can only go downhill from that!!

MaryAnne ..drawn, quartered and hung.

Don't give up....purple patches don't last..I'll soon  give you some back.

Observations

R1. Neither HUSSON EAGLE or MORE RADIANT were at all primed for their debuts. Good performances bode well for their future,

particularly for the latter....looked VERY plain yesterday.

R4. ELITE ELLE looked big to me. Wouldn't sack it if you're a fan.

R5. My bogey race. SPENDING looked really well and had every chance. Sacked.

R6. MOURO. he's sooooo purrty.

R8. M O LIFE. Not really one of mine but seems Lets and others? are keen to sack her completely.

Looked plain in coat and burly yesterday.

R9. AKZAR. goin like a fkn zyrtek!

ADAMANTIUM looked almost back to his show-stopping best yesterday. Last time he peaked he WON AGAIN when he backed up.
