I suppose we can say wdone Ad or is it lets

Nice! Zac Phillips put on a very Lancelike display for us on the favourite. Can't wait to see the real thing when about the only certainty in the Legends is that Smoken Up will be doing an awful lot of work.
I'm a bit of a fan of Mustang Mach so am trying to find reasons to back it in that and more or less succeeding, so far. I think they could lead this if they wanted to but surely they don't, cause that would make Bitobliss a certainty if he follows through which, surely he will?? My best guess is Restrepo leads and Mustang Mach takes the sit behind him but there's tons of guesswork going on there. |

Bet posted Nick so what you are asserting is ridiculous, you could show a little class

$2.30 Gluteus Major is ridiculous, as is $4.80 Imagunnadogood.
By:
I'm on Makemcrymaroi, and have had a respectable go on Salute the wind, who has gatespeed.
By:
Gluteus came last... How many guesses do you need to tell who I'm backing at Newcastle AD? Fingers crossed.

Amajarjo!!!

Well done Khan ......... he is airborne at the minute that horse his run at Kilmore was enormous
By:
Big result, it was good to make up for that run. That horse is going places, not many sit outside Smoken Up and head him.
By:
Metro Mike backed from $1.15 into $1.06... He'll win but someone out there really needs to get on Betfair.

The Caduceus Club FFA is very exciting cause it seems certain that Lance is going to 'do a Wingnut' and hold out the long odds on favourite Chancellor Cullen, cause that's how we likes to do it but it should also give the sprint lane run to his stablemate. CC should probably win anyway but why would you back a horse at that price when he's obviously going to work very hard. One to just watch.
By:
Think its only 50/50 that Lance can hold out Born Again Sassy anyway Khan
By:
Hugo Play held up much more comfortably than I thought he could, might be a better chaser though I think. Smudge Bromac continues to be underrated, doesn't run too many bad ones and was sensational late. CC is obviously extremely good
By:
Hugo wasn't too impressive after a kind trip. CC only had to sprint the last bit and of course did it very easily.
Gotta love Lance pouring on a 100% certain death sentence 27.4 third quarter from the death on Alchemy. Especially when you're on the favourite behind the leader. Newcastle Mile coming up! I know very little about this ex-Tasmanian favourite so am looking forward to seeing how he handles this class. |

How fecking good is Beautide!!!!!!
Abettorpunt was out of this world too. Those two looked about 8 grades above the rest |
By:
Wow. Beautide. Grand Circuit watch out.
By:
if you picked the top 10 runs from the last decade that would be in it
By:
Agree that was a crazy performance
Surely Smoken Up can't win? |
By:
that's one very impressive formline - C Cullen, Amajor, Restrepo
By:
gotta hand it to the tab boys they nailed the two features tonight
By:
beautide just gone to a total new level this prep, simply outstanding run in
track recored time. doing tassie proud big time!!! |
By:
Restrepo is a really good horse going places and followed up a huge run in the Kilmore Cup but he was forced to win that. Steven Spielberg couldn't have directed the race more perfectly, no other horse had the slightest hope.
He's a MM contender now. Anyone know if IMQ is still in the running? |
By:
I assume My High Expectations will be handed the front by his stablemate and that will be your quinella. I've never seen a Victorian trot where one stable could do whatever the hell they wanted any more than this one.
By:
Paintball.. I notice there were gear changes from its last run yet HRV says there were none. Dudded again by imbeciles
By:
Restrepo..................
Drive of the Year Gav but horse did the Job. Will Win Inter |
By:
ITMQ definitely out of MM Khan and the Vic Cup for that matter, only went back into work last Monday after setback (Alta Christiano as well). Plan is to stick with WA features prior to another crack at InterDom
Still coming to grips with Beautide, getting better with every run up there. Finding it hard to believe Tassie will have a Miracle Mile runner let alone a leading hope. Is exciting times for us Tassie folk as things a bit lean on harness front down here currently Didn't think Hugo Play could win despite knowing he would lead on his ear (based on when he drew well in Tassie) as simply can't run a qtr much quicker than 28 (therefore CC was always going to be too quick) but in the ultimate irony Lance went too SLOWLY on him to virtually extinguish any hope he had. Maybe he mixed up Hugo and Alchemy when it came to tactics! Hugo will run 28 qtrs all day but would be lucky to win a C0 in a 400m dash home |
By:
Lol @ Lance going too slow. It's very true but he can never win with us punters.
It's a crying shame nobody has put a miracle mile market up cause it's very rare that a horse comes out of nowhere (with due apologies to the Taswegians) as Beautide has done. He would have been something like 10/1 into 5/2 after last night? And a few months ago would have been 100/1 easily. But looking at his previous win he did come home in 25.7, which is the fastest quarter I've ever heard of in Australia, and he did it on his ear! http://www.trotstv.com.au/?mc=PC051013&rn=2 Should have taken a bit more notice of that, it was a freakish effort and a clear pointer to an effort like last nights. |
