SHOULD Essendon have been relegated to last or ninth ?
Appears strange to me if a jockey of a horse weighs-in light, the horse is disqualified and relegated to last not fifth or sixth.
Certain corporate bookies and Betting Shops are refunding Premiership, Final Eight, Quinella and Premiership Doubles and to make Grand Final bets on Essendon.
What are your thoughts punters ?

andrew's mum has loaded up on both the GWS & Melb ... for the Wooden Spoon at work with the tea lady ... she was nervous & lobbied hard
those bets don't pay if the Bombers run last
... unlike the good old Corps (who have been holding & getting interest & re-investing punter's bet money ... on the Eight ffs ... for five months

Isn't the AFL partners with a number of betting operations???
Staggering decision, the biggest cheats in the history of the game and they don't finish last...please.
Hird get's a year not even a full season should have got a minimum 2 full seasons, his reward for causing all this another 2 year contract extension with the Bombers.
Paul Little categorically stated last night that if the Bombers made the finals next season that Hird would be part of the coaching team, this is the equivalent of Damien Oliver being able to ride during the Victorian spring carnival, it's an absolute joke!!!
I'm a big James Hird fan but am thoroughly disillusioned with his actions during this saga.
Don't even get me started on the AFL and Demetriou, the carpet at AFL house must be bulging today from the things that have been swept under it, no inquiry into Demetriou and his tipping off the bombers or his conduct and handling of this entire mess???
If anybody else had released that sort of confidential info, they would be going directly to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200!!!
