Andrew Embley dropped ...... guess West Coast think he is finished as well
By:
Will play his 250th next week at home and expected to retire after that game. That has well known for several weeks now as unfortunately the injuries that he suffered this year have caught up with him as he fully expected to play on next year if fit and healthy prior to this season.

I think a BigTerd Piccarsooo of LE and AD is in order.
![]() Please... |
By:
I agree Spoon, well overdueI think LE is trying to say he is indeed finished, as some quoted during the year. Great career, but no one lasts forever |
By:
I think it'd be a "collectible"

Pies are not over the line tonight Eagles were abysmal last week and justifiably copped a shellacking all week for that performance, they have come here with a much stronger side this week with Rosa back fit and healthy and in good touch again ,Masten back in the side helps their midfield especially if he can cut down on the turnovers and young Wilson is a good in, shuey not much of a loss as struggled with lack of match fitness and touch last week after a long injury enforced absence and isn't right. Not saying they will win but expect a much stronger showing from the eagles this week as they won't want to be embarrassed in front of a national audience this week.
Crows to pound the Dees, hawks just a shade too strong for north in what should be a game, north a silly chance because its at eithad but hawks class should prevail. Swans to upset the cats in what should be an absolute ripping game, freo narrowly over port in another ripping game, blues v bombers is a toss of the coin the bombers may rally one more time to the us against the world bunker mentality and lift significantly, Bomber may just squeak past the blues. Suns too good for the saints, tigers to bounce back against GWS and win in a canter, lions narrowly over the dogs in an absorbing battle of the two improving sides, this is a big test of the dogs improvement level playing away from home this week. |

Real tough betting round think I might lay the pies for something at the shorts.
By:
Tonight's the first time I've gone to see the Pies since we won The Flag . My youngest heads OS next week
for a year and I expect a shellacking of the Eagles would be a suitable gesture / sendoff from The Mighty Pies. Lay at your peril ![]() |
By:
have layedthe pies at 1.13 on here for something good luck to all during the round
By:
You should be smashing the bombers at the price Lets if you really think it's a coin flip.
By:
embarrassing scenes here for west coast..
By:
Swans didn't win in Geelong last year womble, it was the year before.
Eagles really embarrassing themselves here in front of an international audience. |
By:
freo hoping for a swans win ,they want second

Cmon Ted!! |

What a rabble the Eagles are
Seriously exposed since the Umpires finally woke up to Smellwood and co ![]() |
By:
Pathetic,,,, boys obviously downed tools three weeks out from the end of the season, no talk, no teamwork and any confidence shot, way too many played in survival mode, play like that again next week and the crows will flog them at Subi. You can only hope that they lift significantly for Embley's 250th game.
By:
Cant see anything then a scoring shoot out today between the Hawks and Kangaroos. Line is 205.5 points but both teams are offensive teams, Hawks have been doing it all grounds this season and Roos, are heavy scoring at the Dome as well

By:
i'm losing track of time Joel - we'll get them again today either way

The start is everything in the Blues/bombers clash. Essendon must be spent, a good Carlton start should see the Dons wanting off the field asap. Have taken Carlton -20.5 at 2.14, thinking their heart is no longer in it.
By:
Yeah but Caaaarlton don't HAVE a heart
![]() |
By:
Behave yourself Spoon
By:
spoon is spot on they have zero heart, if bombers even look like putting up a fight every chance blues will shiit themselves as they would have no doubt thought that they all they have to do is turn up tonight.
By:
Terrible game. Carlton will be a cracking bet next year... for the wooden spoon.

Freo ,flag faves IMO

Cats will destroy them when they play them in the finals.
By:
5minutes ago when they two goals down I tried to ring twice to get on at 365 when had the bombers at 6.5 , both times I rang on my mobile they appeared to answer but I couldn't hear anyone saying anything and then it eventually dropped out.
I will absolutely spew if the bombers win this game |
By:
that was gutsy from simpson
By:
fark me how many ways can I get farked over this weekend, 6.5 !!! and I couldn't get on. farking stupid Australian government internet betting legislation

Hope someone has the guts to get stuck into Mick at the post match press conference, it could be spectacular!!!
By:
1.05 gubbed. I hope Essendon don't lose points, or North beat the Pies next week and Carlton lose to Port, because if Carlton play finals they will be the worst finalist maybe in the games history. Completely insipid.
By:
Chance to play Finals................................Choked
![]() |
By:
they're like us, nowhere near good enough, if they played finals they would be embarrassed., Gutless heartless, bunch of showponies, what price did the bombers get to in the run???
By:
Blues were matched for about 1.5K at 1.05
By:
Demetriou last seen requiring the Heimlich manoeuver having choked on his lobster when told the bombers had got up for a fantastic come from behind win.
By:
north would be far more worthy finalists than the blues.
Why can't we just nominate the most in form side outside the eight, the bulldogs, because if they knock off Brisbane this week at the gabba they're the side that would really deserve to be playing finals if the bombers lose their points. |
By:
Lets Elope correct again NM much worthier than Carlton. If he (LE)keeps this up I'll have to invite him around for Christmas dinner. What are we doing on the same page ??
By:
He's on every page.
He wrote the book. ![]() |

Am on the suns halftime fulltime, not a great start early but seem to have steadied a bit now, this is their chance to really stand up as saints have only just been going of late.
