Hello All, don't s'pose anyone even noticed I'd gone, but I thought I would check in to see if the Melbourne night out still happens ?
Some enjoyable evenings were much enjoyed with genuine people. I still keep in periodic touch with the Dookster and The Great Man, but I miss the banter with a lot of the others....Sh1t, I even miss Rushy every now and then. Mainly cos he owes me money, obviously.
Ahh the days of wine and norbert raison.
Anyway, Once the prohibition era ended, and we stopped transporting moonshine pulled by Rushingpulse's carthorses, the forum became full of gambling superstars with egos bigger than their $ 5 stakes so I bailed.
Recently, however, I was thinking how much I missed it so I thought I would pop back. The only question now, to quote Joe Strummer, is "should I stay or should I go ?"
Hope you are all travelling well. Well, better than the Aussie cricket team anyway. I never thought I would say this, but some of them are even worse than Li'l Stuey. He wasn't very good, was he :-)

You will recall that cards is not my forte. Last time I got involved at a game of cards at Spandex's I bluffed my way through 2 hands then collapsed into a semi coma. I then got lost somewhere in the middle of Albert Park and only found my hotel at stupid o'clock in the morning after I was the victim of possibly the worst mugging attempt in the history of crime. Happy Days.

Looked 3 times now, and can't understand how fat somebodies finger needs to be to jump 4 keys to get from l to n......

Hello Wonby, how the devil are you ? Sold the restaurant a while ago. Back to scratching out a meagre existence from the punt now.....
The one positive about this is the freedom it gives you. Been back and forwards to the UK a fair bit and spent some time in Port Douglas, but now I flit between here and Melbourne. Will be in Sydney in a month or so, but I had a "misunderstanding" with a Highway Patrol car and I am having a bit of a break from driving atm....
