some good games this week
Bombers vs Hawks - Hawks for me, no Fletcher will hurt especially with Buddy back Suns vs Blues - will be a cracker, no reason the Suns can't win again Demons vs North - North easily but less than 10 goals Pies vs Giants - Pies by 100+, Cloke to kick 10+ Cats vs Saints - Cats easily Dockers vs Crows - Dockers by less than 2 goals Port vs Lions - Port easily with Hanley (the Irish All Australian) out Bulldogs vs Eagles - Eagles have so much more to play for so should win but it won't be by much Swans vs Tigers - Tigers always go well against us, have beaten us the last 2 times at the MCG - we'll get them this week though, 5 goals or so Good luck All |

Thinking Adelaide can cause some trouble if they played like they did in the 2nd half against Geelong, not sure why the Crows are 4.20 here? Dockers won a 50 50 contest in Adelaide earlier in the season but to be honest there wasnt too much between the sides. I think GWS played alright last week against the Bombers @ Skoda stadium....think it might be worth a tenner on them being competitive in 1st half but Collingwood will run out the game better in 2nd half and go on to win.

get the feeling tonights Hawks V Bombers will be an attacking game though. 199.5 line expecting to go overs, but 1.80 not much value. The Bombers looked flat last week but I felt like they were playing in 2nd gear when I saw them up there in Sydney, think they will be motivated for tonight. Also think the Bombers have a bit of an advantage playing Etihad 7-2 times this season compared to the Hawks.

I like Footascray against the Weagles--Doggys have been very competative against the 2 tops sides IN their last 2 games--Coasters have alot of huge outs--with injurys-- Doogys all day..
![]() ![]() $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ |

I reckon the Hawks might just open the Bombers up tonight

Gunna be a camera job--maybe a dead heat

hawks comfortably west coast to be just a shade too strong for the dogs despite all the outs, lions to narrowly get past Port, Hanley missing though is a major loss and suns to sneak past the blues, Dixon coming back in will helps the suns providing he's fit enough to run out a strong game as has missed a lot of footy. Swans to absolutely smash the tigers, dockers too strong for the crows, cats, pies and north all win comfortably.
Best Suns, Hawks, Swans and the Eagles. |

carlisle went the knuckle..thats worked

Hawthorn showing they are simply the best early here, only 9 points up but making Essendon look decidedly average

what a team

This is one amazing football side

except when they play geelong..

Wonder where the bloke is who told me they were no good when I declared they were the best around when they were not even in the 8. But, he is still always correct

swans will take the hawks as will the cats.

ah there he is

Not exactly beating a class side tonight, even the Eagles had the bombers on toast and somehow found a way to lose that game Hwks deserves to be amongst the flag favourites but as I said last year their flag price in comparison to the other two sides of the big three is ridiculous. Not much between any of them andam amazed they're still clear cut favourite, it shows a distinct lack of respect for both the swans and the cats.

Everyone on Fox Footy proclaiming Heppell Essendon's best, again, there is only one person in the country who won't admit he is grades above Shuey
![]() |
|
By:
heppell wouldn't fit into the eagles side, he hits too many targets, can't have players who hit targets in our side.
|
|
By:
Nice way of deflecting the fact that you were way off once again, can't admit you are wrong about all of these things aye
|
|
By:
No I said shuey was clearly the better player that season, lets see how Heppell deals with a consistent heavy tag, that's right he doesn't have to does he.

![]() ![]() You are hilarious |

Bombers are woeful--their disposal is pathetic--taking the wrong option everytime--Couldnt get any worse, could it

Why are essendon supporters booing Roughead
Did he admit to taking a banned substance ![]() |
|
By:
He went to bump a bomber and came off second best when he ran into a bombers players elbow, apparently you're not allowed to do that according to bomber fans.

Shabby effort. Threw himself on the ground like a Selwood after initiating contact.
![]() Other bloke probably reported ![]() Should be like the soccer........DIVERS ARE PENALISED ![]() |

By:
spoon he copped a fair old (mostly accidental) elbow in the end as the bomber player leaped up a bit in the act of protecting himself, I think the player about to be bumped is entitled to protect himself but no doubt under todays stupid rules he'll get suspended.
|
|
By:
As usual I agree with you........ except for this point. copped a fair old elbow Garbage, nothing in it and
overreacted for a free kick. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ![]() |
|
By:
supercoach carnage for me this week no jimmy (suspended), no hanley (broken hand) no nic nat and no le cras and accidentally made a rookie mistake last week burning an extra trade when experimenting with a potential trade and not realising even though the relevant teams hadn't played yet that the trades weren't reversible.
|
|
By:
spoon watch the replay, he was clearly half stunned, there's no doubt those MRP clowns will look closely at it.

Can you back GWS @ +86.5 with any confidence this weekend? Or do you think they'll be taking it easy in preparation for the much anticipated clash next week with Melbourne?
|
|
By:
ok - i admit i only follow AFL a distance but a tip from me
more on the psychology i am tipping Melbourne to beat North melbourne - they are $21 since the new coach they have improved but it's more about North everyone knows they beat up on weak teams so what do they have to prove? their remarkable run of losing games they should have won may catch up on them a back of Melbourne at $21 and save at the line what do you guys think? |
|
By:
When did Melbourne last win a game? When did they last look like winning a game? You could bet $5 and still end up with a pocket full of cash if you're right but I wouldn't be too worried about it.
You've got more chance of the Suns beating Carlton but the odds just aren't good enough, they are half the amount they were last week when they beat the Pies! |
|
By:
"Melbourne’s form has lifted, albeit off a pathetically low base"
i love this comment from a blog on t waterhouse's website |
|
By:
Wait till next week and you'll have better chances of winning on Melbourne!
Last time North played at Etihad they knocked over Richmond by more than just a few points! |

thanks - i guess i asked but i guess my mind is made up
not for a lot of dollars but will see how it goes |
