Last time I looked they were Aussie , I suppose more so when Bon Scott was the front man ? Not even close to Led Zeppelin ,different genre. AC/DC wouldn't know what the Blues was. Good hard hitting rock and roll though.Saw them both live , Zepps at Sydney Showground 1972 and AC/DC at The Bondi lifesaver.Great shame John Bonham had the booze problem, drank himself to death and ended the band. Greatest drummer that ever lived. If you want proof have a listen to Moby Dick or In My Time of dying if you don't like drum solos.

Most of them born in UK. Though I do think Led Zepp are miles better.
