The series creator David Chase was absolutely glowing in his praise of Gandolfini's acting prowess

Jimmy Gandolfini WAS Tony Soprano, the show wouldn't have been such as success if he wasn't so believable.....that's why they ended up paying him $1mil an episode, he was born for that role.....it's a real shame he's gone

Michael Chiklis as Vic Mackey in The Shield still the greatest for me.

sopranos was a cult classic ... he was a leg in to be typo'd for it on the back of great bit parts in True Romance & Get Shorty that showed us an early glimpse

anyone ever notice that half ( not really half but a number of them) the cast of the Soprano's was in Micky Blue eyes, also saw Pauli in an old episode of Miami Vice the other day playing, you guessed it a mob guy, he even had a tiny bit of the wings in his hair back then.
