Some tough games this round - hopefully some money to be made
Fremantle vs Essendon - I'm on the Bombers, they are up and about and if they can shake off the headlines they can definitely win this - $2.88 is a nice price. Saving on the tribet, either team under 15.5 @ $2.90
I'll post my bets on the other games as the round progresses but my thoughts so far are
North vs Sydney - risky game for the mighty Swans and I think it'll be close but we have a great record against them and will hopefully get up again
Melbourne vs West Coast - how far West Coast???
GWS vs St Kilda - GWS not hopeless here, I've tipped St Kilda but still thinking about my bets
Gold Coast vs Brisbane - I've tipped the Suns, should be a cracking Q Clash
Geelong vs Carlton - Cats for mine
Richmond vs Western Bulldogs - Tigers are up and and about, danger game but they should win
Collingwood vs Hawthorn - Hawks pretty easily with Jolly out for the Pies
Port vs Adelaide - plenty of experts tipping Port but I'll go the Crows

Rainy weather and wet weather conditions I think favours the Dockers here. Think there is a chance this game may go unders as well

Im going to stick my head out in Melbourne V WCE, surely Melbourne will give a fight this week. Eagles dont smash teams away from home. Bar the win against GWS last year , the last time WCE smashed a team by 50 + points away from Subiaco was in 2007, Rd 17..when they won by 77 points. Also Ive decided to take a bit of a bet on Melbourne @ 14.00 , just got a feeling Dees are going to come out firing for some reason.

Id be careful backing overs here but at the same time Subiaco has one of the best drainage systems in Australia. Roads are wet, and it is still lightly drizzling. Dont think this game will go over personally, reckon it might be worth a play on Under 150 points paying around 3/1. Can easily see 1 quarter or 2 where there will be a sub 20 points combined between both teams.

Essendon were really impressive last week in defence, midfield and attack. I feel the @ 3.20 is slightly over the odds as I speak. My only doubt is whether they can play on a heavier outdoor conditions, in windy rainy conditions. (They play most of their games on the indoor Etihad and MCG ).

Essendon are clearly at their best when they can move the ball quickly against a team that is happy to have an 18 goal to 16 win. Lyon won't allow that style of game |
