The smart punters laying Ryans mounts on betfair get it right over 80% of the time.
Just Heaven Sent traded at 2.52 when 1.7 on track and 1.9 at the jump while 1.75 at the track. Weekend Getaway 4.0 into 2.76 at jump (on betfair)--WINS. Sutton Queen trades at 7.8 when 4.6 in the ring.(sitting on this horse doing next to nothing for extended period of time, then cuts back to inside which by this time was much slower than out wide.) Ideal Postion trades at 6.2 when 4.0 at the track. Star of Bardell well supported on BF in the last but Ryans punters do their money this time. I wonder who ryans new best mate will be when cahill finally takes his holiday? |

It must just be our imagination abanjo as he has never been called in over a ride, and our stewards are trained to detect that sort of stuff. Ryan did admit it was a poor ride on Just Heaven Sent, but apparently Cahill told him it was perfect ride as unlike his ride on Astronomer the stewards didn't say a word

spy27 you have got me thinking. I have always assumed that it was Ryan plus a couple of punters but perhaps it may be more
like the Trots. After all there is no ICAC looking over the shoulder of the stewards. |
|
By:
have noticed his mounts are often keenly traded in running - one way or the other
|
|
By:
Must say I have not noticed that.

Mr Banjo, do you think the stewards from the other 2 codes are any different to gallops stewards?
Mr Hope, "they" do next to all of their action before the off, only peanuts on the in running, but maybe they do pinch what they can there as well, after all its GUARANTEED |

By:
SPY27 I am not sure but their inaction over the years suggests .......

Excerpt from stewards report on the race. abanjo, didn't he grab hold immediately after jumping? If so, surely stewards could see this. Horse just won over 1200 at Mudgee sitting right on leader and they ran along a lot quicker than they did last run over 1400
When questioned regarding the performance of Juste Heaven Sent, rider G. Ryan stated that after attempting to race forward in the early stages the mare commenced to hang out and as a result he was obliged to restrain his mount and as a consequence was unable to obtain the forward position as expected. |

T.W. Smith (Chairman), S.P. Fitzgerald & B. Watling are stewards?????????????????????????????????????

Surely RNSW looks over days stewards reports to make sure they're accurate, surely
|
|
By:
spy27 very tongue in cheek. It is very apparent RNSW does not as the RYAN business has been going on for over a decade.

Well then its high time they started
