I went in and saw the old boy today. He would like to let you all know he's alright, despite being stitched from 'tit to toe' (280 odd stitches). He's up and about and already has a list of 'prefered' nurses. His dietition also expressed concern about him not eating enough.... Unbelievable I know. With a prescription of 'grazing between meals' and a licence to consume as many cheese wheels as he wishes, he'll be back home on Saturday or Sunday. He passes on his thanks and apologises for "not being able to call every coconut".

280 and stitches would make no inroads on the massive frame
he cut his finger once and need 67 stitches and 3 gallons of blood.

thanks to all for thier kind wishes...most appreciated.
Following on from this surgery I will start Chemo again on the 8th of Jan ,for 5 months,and then probably have another operation around the June of next year, after which I'II have a clearer picture of where I'm at in this fight.
So far so good despite the obvious pain and discomfort.
Nothing a few 20/1 shots and a couple of frothies won't cure I reckon.
