Second this so called clown basically said the favourite Green Moon couldn't win  and marketed it 12.5 stated that Ocean Park should be a clear cut favourite at 5.5 said ethiopia was a very good chance and that both all too hard  and Pierro would run very well and had them marked at 7.85 and 6 bucks respectively. I would have thought that's a pretty accurate summation of the race but hey that's just me.

No doubt it isn't useful Joel but if the likes of yourself and certain other forumites hadn't been such smart arrses, having consistently questioned my integrity  and been downright insulting and rude on a consistent basis over a very long period I would in all probability be happy to post this sort of thing prior to the race.

I am merely making a point to highlight the fact that all of those so called geniuses who claimed I had no idea, couldn't have been more wrong if they tried.

How do you like the egg that you lot now have on your faces geniuses to be served up, poached, scrambled or sunnyside up.LaughLaughLaugh
Report The_KAMIKAZEE_DRINKING_MACHINE October 27, 2012 12:00 PM BST
Why don't you make a rule for yourself. Unless you post something before a race then refrain from posting anything after a race. That way you may be seen to have some integrity. Until you start doing that then you can expect to be a figure of fun.

Lets you're the biggest after timer on the forum, yes your analysis was correct but it doesn't change the fact you're a perennial after timer
Report SecondComing October 27, 2012 1:03 PM BST
i've been roaming these tipping threads from day dot and one thing has always been the same, you've always after timed, especially at Western Australian racing venues

if you actually put yourself on the same level as everyone else instead of thinking you are the genius wiz tipster who never has a bad day, you might gain some respectability and more important some credibility, you're the kinda guy who makes those who don't bet think that punting is all sunshine and roses, purely because you only mention your wins not your losses

what if you didn't pick the winner (highly unlikely given you mentioned half a dozen horses who you'd be backing) but still, if you had not backed the winner, your silence would be deafening
Report Lets Elope October 27, 2012 1:05 PM BST
for starters it was posted not even 5min after the race and that market was finished 16 hours ago a fact that MP will no doubt confirm when he checks the excel file attached to the e-mail I sent him, unlike some  I don't lie, I have no need too.
Amazing how it's the sound of silence yet again from the rest of the peanut gallery, eh spoon but then again I clearly have no idea I have only got the two of the hardest races on the Australian calendar correct again.
Report Lets Elope October 27, 2012 1:25 PM BST
No I like to analyse post race mate what I've done right and in particular what I've done wrong and why and apparently according to you clowns that's the equivalent to committing a war crime.

I've never hidden my losses or my winning bets that's been proven time and time again and I've declared plenty of horses in WA pre race so again that's either an outright lie on your behalf or an attempt accidental or otherwise to mislead people, I declared luckygray on debut at 8 or nine bucks from its trials and said it was a smart horse in the making before it even raced, told people about dreamaway, ranger, mr moet, chester road etc, etc and have also posted heaps of good price winners on here, I declared linton first up in adelaide in the autumn etc etc.

I don't have to justify anything second, however I am owed some due respect and perhaps an apology from several people on here but I wouldn't expect that it will be forthcoming, which is indicative of their true character but who knows maybe they'll show some intestinal fortitude and admit that they were that far off the mark about my ability or lack thereof that  it isn't funny but somehow I can't see that happening.

I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong but I am a good judge and my judgement more often than not is correct and that's the whole bloody idea I would have thought.

I am not worried Spoon I know I'm just wasting my breath but I was happy to help people in the first place but I am not going to sit back and take the sort of craap I've put up with from some on here without making them them look the fools they clearly are at times. If they want to be smart arrses I'm more than happy to just stick to doing my own thing and if the truth be known I'm better off doing that because Im allowing myself to be distracted from the job at hand.
Report powerfan October 27, 2012 1:52 PM BST

If you come her Wed the 7th of November I will give you a formguide for Tuesdays Melbourne Cup.

That's hilarious coming from a bloke who's been on here since July 2012 rabbiting about on how due respect is earned, lets cut to the real point  of Second's argumetn he's being made to feel very small because I said and was proven correct that his pick Green Moon had virtually no chance of winning no matter how the race was run and was in fact massive unders. More importantly it then pointed out why it had no chance of winning, lacks the point to point speed necessary to win a Cox Plate around MV and won't be able to hold its position at the start and as a result it won't be able to take advantage of its good draw.
Report Joel October 28, 2012 2:03 AM GMT

and by the way, don't try and pretend you're a know all, you backed 5-6 horses in that race, why not back 1? I know why

because you have got no idea LaughCrazyCrazyWink

I know you won't but there's how you can earn some respect, you certainly are not owed it Wink
Report Lets Elope October 28, 2012 2:20 AM GMT
I knew you were someone else in a previous incarnation, one who's a chronic abuser of anyone who thinks outside the "accepted" logic like myself, you can't handle the fact and have never been able too  that my judgment is consistently better than yours and like I said the people tht count know how good a judge I am and in the end that's all that really matters, just thought I'd give you a chance to see why my judgment is respected by those in the know.

Also I suggest you learn to watch your video's a little bit closer as it was obvious when you watched the replays over and over again that Green Moon had very little hope of holding a forward position at the start and from then it was always going to be in trouble as doesn't possess the necessary point to point speed. In saying that it obviously wasn't quite right yesterday as it had no zip whatsoever but it still wouldn't have won irregardless.
Report SecondComing October 28, 2012 2:22 AM GMT
I'm not debating the fact Green Moon couldn't hold a spot, that was the risk taken, I took the risk and lost, that's racing

doesn't change things though, you're still an after timing mug LaughLaugh
Report Lets Elope October 28, 2012 2:42 AM GMT
I already have tipped the Melbourne Cup winner in the past on here pretty sure I said dunaden would win after it won the Geelong cup last year. Even if it had held a spot it was massively vulnerable to being outsprinted around the Valley you go back through past Cox Plate winners and there is generally one common denominator all have big point to point speed, you have to be ale to really lpick up at some stage and all of these past winners had that element in common, even pinker pinker when held up and given the right run could really sprint. Maldivian probably the slight exception because of the ridiculously easy run he had in front but even he could accelerate when required. And before you say Northerly didn't possess that, Northerly could explode when held up back in the field if ridden that way and did on a numer of occasions earlier in his career but was also capable of carving out relentless sectionals when on the speed that no other horse could match. Not too many horses were capable of catching Sunline after she had a nice run in front and exploded the way she did in the first Feehan(dato chin nam now)  like Northerly did when he mowed her down with Ollie up in the 2001 version of that race.

In 2003 I back fields and defier, I loved both horses, and I had the quinella for a good result the following year when I was priveleged to be on track to see Northerly beat one of the best fields ever assembled for a Cox Plate wehn he beat Defier and Grandera and was  at Ascot in Perth cheering home Northerly for a big result when he won his first Cox Plate, Sunline picked herself in her first two Cox Plates as Might and Power us the previous year and have no idea what I backed in dane rippers year possibly filante but I can't be sure but it sure as hell wasn't Dane Ripper and Ollie.
