I love that you are stalking me sweetheart. I like to see that you are contributing even if you have nothing important to say. Just had a quick scan & couldn't see any you've started. Probably no point i suppose, what are you going to contribute with a $0 balance

The long slide continues....and we get the feel good bonus of funding their management fees and wages by way of the t/o tax, bargain.
Is this a preview of the field size and quality for the dog days of racing that often seems to occour in December January or will it be even worse then?

VeryLTU, a month or so ago i actually placed a $500 place bet in 4 horse field with Acttab (with no late scratchings) not realising there would be no place pool.
Horse ran last and i threw ticket in bin in disgust at horses performance. Then a few minutes later i noticed that there was NPP on the divvie screens. I quickly got my ticket out of bin & collected the $500 refund. I complained to TAB & they just said it was computer gliche that they knew about. Well i reckon they probably still haven't fixed. I just wonder how many bets are placed & the refund never collected in these circumstances.

The problem in Sydney has always been that there's too many options outside the city for those closer by and it's too hard to get to for those further away. Those in the south of the state are more likely to take their horses to Melbourne, and those in the north to Brisbane, because they are closer.
Plus barrier trials - a good thing, there are always more horses trialling in NSW

Freedman's move to Sydney might help liven the joint up a bit but it's been so bad for so long I find it hard to imagine it ever getting back to any sort of competative level

yes kye they've got a million tricks to get their hands in our pockets... and most of them are described as computer glitches. NOW I REALISE what wayno the stopper was doing searching the tote benches on wednesday shortly after that race....... bizarre behaviour... but now i understand

Is it just a coincidence or has PVL advised all NSW country tracks to make sure they run 2-3 mins late most Saturdays to ensure they get as much turnover as possible. Or has the Tab asked them to do so? (More turnover, more Sky 2 subscribers)

V'landys solution to small field sizes in NSW is not to reduce the number of meetings, but to breed more horse. With Messara and V'landys in charge, it looks like the breeding industry has the control of racing in NSW.

V'landys said they have a contract with tabcorp to supply 130 odd metro meetings a year. why an industry would sign away its rights is moronic. i can only see the industry declining in the future.
