What kinds of bets are you having? I bet sport and am not having much trouble.
There is always the option to place your bets anonymously at an outlet...

Be very surprised if you are having H2H or line bets turned down (or partially accepted)

I will also say I wouldn't blame them if they reduced what liability they are willing to offer on things like first goalscorer/tryscorer, etc as simply don't hold enough on those rubbish type bets to make a proper book

Same thing happening here. All my bets are now "intercepted" by the betting manager. Rang for a half time bet in the NRL was cut back from $1000 at 2.80 to $250 at that price. I reluctantly agreed and then was told no sorry we can't accept that either. Sports betting in this country is now a joke.

My bets are also being " intercepted " by the Betting Manager, and coming back partially accepted (if I agree )...These are not  "rubbish" markets by any means...We're talking NFL Futures, T20 World Cup Futures etc.

Walk into an agency and have the bet anonymously. You can bet to 10k limit or more like that.

I have had no probs with Tattsbet or Sportsbet with some sizeable sporting bets, between them and betfair I get what I need and no worries.

Half time in the NRL grand final. $2000 at 1.35 Storm wouldnt be a problem would it? It was, $500 only. Whats the new price please? Still 1.35. Ok, for $1500 please. Nope, you can have 1250. Great, new price please? Still 1.35. Ok I'll have 250 on it please. Only took 5 minutes to get set in the biggest game of the year.

They wouldn't take more than 500 at a time on the AFL grand final.  I would suggest that market had plenty on it H2H....

they report they held $700000 in the run yesterday.

And with them, the new system I can't even find how to accept the revised bet so always miss out, on the phone it is never accepted because the clock has run out by the time it gets revised to you, so I have to resort to push buttons phone betting just to get any sort of a bet on with them at the moment.
Even when ringing the premium number they come back with ridiculous counter bets.  Bookmaking is right up to ****.

700k?  Imagine what they could have held if they put up some real bets.

Had a game of AFL a few weeks back trying to get on for about 4k a time I believe.  My counter offers were 30@ 2.65, 32 @ 2.35 and 17 @ 2.25, all placed one after the other a minute apart.  Things are pretty sick to be wasting peoples time like that.

Tried to have a monkey on canterbury at half time with the worlds biggest bet $3.65 and after 5 minutes on hold was offered $1.50 Phucking imposters

Winker, I too asked for $2,000 @ $1.35 at half time. They bet me $800 & left the price there unchanged.

I tried to have $25 on C White to make Most Runs for Australia tonight at 10s. Placed the Bet. Odds Changed to $9. Do you want to accept these Odds. Ok ill take $9 Yes. Updating bet. Odds Changed to $8 do you want to accept these Odds. No.
Odds stayed on $8.
I was rounding my account down and just something to watch.
Think he was 13s Betfair.

Might of saved me $25

The good old days of getting on for 000's with Tabcorp seem over...unless they think you're a complete mug.
The Beancounters have taken over,  and they now find themselves in the murky company of Centabet, Sportsbet etc.
