The more the better, it will instill far more confidence in punters than just sweeping it under the carpet like they normally do.

Maybe something close to the HK model where they lock the little ****s up will help clean it up as well.

I hear DN is considering switching sports, cricket in India has most appeal to him should things go belly up for him in racing

jfc, if you read my post you would clearly see i was asking Mr Very, but to answer your question, mind your own business

Mr Very 3rd horse was the most suspect ride to me

If you want to BFF Very use PM.

This is supposed to be a public forum.

And whom were you addressing when you asked that question earlier!

The fact that no one was too stupid answer as to answer it, should have been a strong hint for you to mend your ways.

i can't work out why they go to all the trouble of organizing the race fix......just weigh in light....simple
By:

Mr Cushion, do you think the stewards as slow as they are might catch on after DN weighed in light 10 times in a month? Laugh

just out of curiosity, has he ever weighed in light....anyone know?
By:

I doubt it as its a very rare occurrence
By:

When: 30 Aug 12 03:17
not that rare spy...3 times in past 3 months(country tracks)....I have a vague memory of it happening to him 2 or 3 years ago at a provincial. Could be wrong.
By:
spyvspy27
When: 30 Aug 12 03:20
Maybe you're right about him weighing in light, i don't recall though, and 3 times on country tracks in 3 months is quite a lot, but 3 months is only a small timeframe, i doubt it would happen once a month over the long haul, my guess would be maybe once a year, but its only a guess

you're right about that average...but the frequency has increased in the past couple of years.

Maybe it has and it has possibly been done on occasion for nefarious reasons

I bet in that race and backed the winner bolton which was racing well and was very well placed in that race and he has far more class and ability than Apres a cat, Royal Mail, a handy horse. Watch the replay and judge for yourself Apres given every possible mortal hope and Royal Mail simply not good enough after being given every chance.

Bolton's stable is a betting stable when they like one of theirs as they showed again when they had the balls to back in their good judgment and to have a very sneaky go on at long prices on Sea Lord first up at MV last Saturday.

caulfield race 7 february 4, 2012 type in 4.2.12 exactly as it appears here in the search box and scroll down to the race
and judge for yourself

Gee you guys are willing to swallow some absolute craap, if you spent as much time studying form as you do about whinging who pulled up what supposedly, you might actually regularly back a winner.

No qualms with DN going back and onto rail when he had a lovely cart up in the run Mr Elope?

Lets even you have to admit there is a common denominator in all the allegations.

Lost little to no ground and had its chance and couldn't get anywhere near the winner, well and truly had its chance, talk about jumping at shadows.

Like I said spend more time studying form than what may or may not have happened in a race and your strike rate will improve dramatically.

By:

You know nothing about my strike rate Mr Elope, but i know a lot about yours, especially the ones you post after the ball

Doesn't mean its correct, Whoopi.

I really dont care one way or another but show me a race with something substantial and then I might agree but there is nothing in either the cranbourne race or this one to suggest that the horses were ridden not to fulfill their best possible placings or to prevent them from winning.

Clearly the best horse on the day won on both occasions.

I know you spend a hell of a lot of time whinging about how this one and that one was ridden suspect, time that could be spent far more constructively, analysing why you got the race wrong in the first place and improving your own form assessment.

Joel I backed the winner because I was on it at flemington when it trotted in the previous start and the horse was flying and it was pitchforked into that race, and it's a horse with some sembalance of class racing against cats and it's a horse I've alway had time for and I love to back horses with a touch of class when they're in the right race, plus the trainer is a very, very good trainer.

When they bet, they very rarely miss, he improves other peoples horses significantly, places them well and is not afraid to have a bet and more often not when they do, he is correct, all of which are the signs of a very good trainer.
Correct me if I'm wrong but stables like that are worth following, especially when they have the best horse in the race.

starting to look a bit suss lets... you seem to have backed the winners of all of these races that the stewards are interested in Laugh
