Report The_KAMIKAZEE_DRINKING_MACHINE August 14, 2012 9:16 AM BST
Where'd you hear that? Someone was having you on.

You must be easily pleased. That's what they say about you at Gaylord isn't it?
Report Dark....Target August 14, 2012 9:30 AM BST
Perth and Adelaide are the nicest cities in Australia by panels. Of all the other cities, the only one with anything going for it is Melbourne, the sporting capital of the world.
Report Joel August 14, 2012 9:30 AM BST
Sydney is quite nice too.
Report Joel August 14, 2012 9:34 AM BST
I have never been to Gaylord school.
Report The_KAMIKAZEE_DRINKING_MACHINE August 14, 2012 9:35 AM BST
I'm not sure they are even cities. Just a loose collection of unremarkable buildings populated by a diverse group of misfits and inadequates.

Toronto & Calgary? Liveable for skiers & polar bears. Dont get above zero those place for about 4 months
Report Joel August 14, 2012 10:00 AM BST
Interesting that half of the top ten are from Austria
Report silverunderwear August 14, 2012 10:08 AM BST
Joel "The Good Austrian" LOL

I'm a bit in Kye's area here, socially the southern cities may be the best but climatewise I couldn't hack the winters. A killer for me.
Brisbane was brilliant back 10 years or more but it's gone downhill with the population explosion since IMHO.

Love to go a bit further north now

Report Dark....Target August 14, 2012 10:57 AM BST
Adelaide is a beautiful city, much nicer than any city on the east coast. I dont mean its a hive of activity like Melbourne / Sydney, but as a purely livable city.

If we're so livable why they taking the seats out of our trains. ?  Friday and Satuday nights are a war zone in the C.B.D.  Why did Tattersalls announce their moving to Queensland yesterday.  Manufacturing is in freefall.   This city is becoming very un business friendly, I think we're got a Socialist State Government or more than likely a Socialist leader in Big Teddy Ballieu.   Over the last 6 months the glory days are starting to come to a halt. Sad  Couldn't go forever I suppose.

Yes Mr. Crazy.
It pisses me off no end when people say "in the real world" this or that is happening.
Everyone's own world IS their real world.
A struggling person's world is no more and no less real than a rich person's.

Nothing in there about weather, people, things to do LaughLaughLaugh
Report CrazySnake August 16, 2012 5:58 AM BST
There is nothing more inevitable than inevitability itself. This simply had to get parochial in the end, didn't it...
Report muncha. August 16, 2012 9:17 AM BST
Clever Girl,

If that was a legitimate question Damascus ranked 130 out of the 140 cities surveyed.
Report clever-girl August 16, 2012 9:27 AM BST
are you serious Muncha? There's a freaking civil war going on there ...

What about Mogadishu?
Report muncha. August 16, 2012 10:38 AM BST
Trouble spots like Mogadishu were not included apparently, not sure why Damascus was as you are right the place is a mess at the moment.
Such a shame, I was there (Syria) in August 2010 and the people were extremely welcoming and the place absolutely fascinating.
A lot has changed now though.
