They closed mine in what must be a record. Opened today 10 am, made five bets on Saturdays races, then a phone call from them before 3 pm to say my account is now closed .... because my account is "uneconomical" for them!

Yeah  they  make  their  own  rules  and  those  rules  are  approved  by  the  northern  territory  racing  commission  but  they  don't  care.

clarkie55 don't watch the game at the "g" friday night or it might make you throw up or give you nightmares. lots of mugs losers are paying or any fees they can get.

Got offered $4.44 on a 1.91 line bet on the football and these phucking imposters claim to be the worlds biggest sports betting company as bad as the tabs are at least you can get something on with them.

All these 'bookmakers' have been a disgrace for long enough now that the regulators must be made aware of whats going on - so lookup CrazySnake's thread on here & make official complaints

the solution is simple..dont give anywhere your custom if you feel ripped off!

It was on TT, some guy had a F4 win 4 times on the dogs worth 77k then seams they changed the rules so they didn't have to pay him out.

Might be on there website, looks like the NT government are going to have a good look at it in regards to the license and if rules were changed with out notification.

I don't think the guy was a recreational punter as he had almost 5k in bets.

A good mate is a well known sporting journalist for News Ltd. He loves a bet and phones for a tip on a regular basis.

I've spoken to him about the corps and the problems, I and others have had, with closing accounts etc. I asked about any chance he or another journo doing a story. His answer was, no chance with the amount of money they spend on advertising.

The UK/Irish betting firms own most of our top corporate bookmakers now, including Centrebet, Sportingbet, Sportsbet, Unibet in addition to the entry of Bet365.
They paid top dollar for these business and the local ownership quickly moved on, leaving them to do as they please.
This is nothing. It's going to get worse because the NT government wants them here and is refusing to police their activities in a fair and impartial manner.

they are utterly ruthless and only interested in very profitable accounts. If you look like you have half a clue they will close you down or restrict your bets to pennies. they lie about those opening bonuses too and find a way to not pay them.

to save time their terms and conditions should just read
"we reserve the right to do whatever we f***ing well like and if you don't like it, tough!"

Well, in truth we never let them in, our bookies did when they took ridiculous offers for their business and decided to sit on sandy beaches and drink umbrella drinks.

Well, I'm still alive with 365 and just pulled out a profit of $1600.00 back to the bank account. I expect to have the rug pulled out from under me at any minute.
But just let them try, I'll have them over a barrel :D

You see they broke the law of the interactive gambling act by giving me a deposit bonus even though I reside and told them I was in Victoria.
So if they pull the pin, I will persue this to the ends of the earth to get their licence revoked or at least a hefty fine.

I mean I will contact the regulators and the Minister for Gaming. It's clear proof they violated the Act by offering it to me. I never took it, they just gave it to me!

I never touched it, it's still there.
The fact is not whether they correct an error, but they broke the terms of their licence and broke the law.
They have a few options:
a) close the account
b) limit the account
c) withdraw the bonus

or any combination of the above.

Option c does not stop the breach of the gaming act nor their licence.

If they choose options a or b, nothing will stop the pandora's box they've opened.

Closing accounts cannot be a legal issue at this point, but the gaming commission and the Minister will be very interested to know they breached their Australian licence regulations and a breach of the Act could be enough reason to send them packing back to where they came from.

Someone else on here got a bonus from IAS as a victorian account holder. I think it might have been castiron, but I could also be wrong. The facts are right though. It was someone on here and they complained to the NT gov because they felt they should be entitled to it.

Not me, Snake.  I have never lived in Victoria, but I was given the short shift by IAS.

I cannot understand the negative comments directed at 356.
Since I have opened up my account , they have gone to all exremes to satisfy my needs.
They regularly phone me for assistance , and offer me bonuses galore , and even advice how I can maximise my punting dollar.
They keep sending me gifts of wines, chocolates, movie passes, and even sports passes in corporate boxes.
Although I have had bad luck finding a winner , they send me tips to assist me in trying to win my money back.
Even though I am only 20,000 behind since I opened the account they keep reaauring me that I should get all my money back with their assistance , and when I get to losing 50,000 they have promised me a 2% rebate on my losses.
They have asked me not to put bets on for other people , as this is against company policy.
Such a wonderful company
