Interesting to see AD. I think they will make a big example of him to try to make a big statement trying to stamp such tackles out of the game for good. Very dangerous tackle, and can easily see him copping at least 6.
I don't disagree with you BJT but don't think it will happen - you have to tear a limb off an opponent to get 6 these days. I would expect about half that will be the result

Can't see it drewboy, not enough scoring power for mine. They might keep it tight in a low scoring start, but hard to see this one flip flopping.

Cheers Winker - can see it being tight into 3rd quarter and thought I might be able to pinch a bit. Dogs shooting at goal has been dreadful past few weeks, all about the start and some confidence - just about worth a punt at the odds for me.

Actually I take that back, Geelong to cover a line in the wet. Line should start to come in with this weather and invariably they cover the spread in these matches.
Wasnt keen on that game LE, thought Carlton might have shown a bit more, and I think the Hawks can leak a few points.
Hawks have been building again for weeks, last week was no test though, it will be interesting when they again play a "quality" side what happens they appear better balanced now but you won't really know for certain until they come up against a genuine contender and the blues are none of the those things.

Think Saints forward pressure is enough to control the Roos pretty easily here. Roos won't have the space and need to rely on fast breaks for their scores. Will be coming wide, and turning it over. Saints by 30 for mine.
Not sure about this, but looks a game played at cracking pace. I think Roos are playing out of their skin here, and could very well come down to fitness. A lot of mistakes being made, but I think that is all due to pressure applied by both teams.
Based on the speed the Roos play with I think that still works in the Saints favour. They will have their spurts the Roos, but I think Saints grind out over the course of the game, and will run away in the end.
But really enjoying the game so far. Some sore boys tomorrow me thinks.

Spot on BJT, can't sustain this type of up and back running. Whatever the score at 3/4 time, I'm backing the Saints to smash them at the back end of the game.

Raph Clarke? Been dead wood for years now. Running through the centre of the ground 20 metres space, ready to pump in to 20 out, gets done holding the ball. Has no awareness around him. Is purely a punch, quick handball player and generally struggles at that. He is a liability, and has been today.

If you kick it away after the whistle has blown for free kick to the opposition i thought it was a 50m penalty. Have the umpires changed the rule on that too? or do they need to be lenient b/c they have fkd up the advantage rule. seems no consistency at all

Lets see how these guys go against the Eagles next week in Tassie, you can guarantee someone from the eagles will be paying very close attention to wells.
Clark was one of their few defenders who stood up all up day, do you actually watch a game mate or do you go on stats, stats can mean anything you want them to mean, his courage today was bordering on suicidal at times with some of the things he did, if the rest of them had played with the same intensity as he did today its doubtful they would have lost, saints carried more passengers today than an indonesian people smuggler.

Snake wasn't referring to any bias you had I was talking abut the main bookmakers price setters. Going to tassie holds zero fears for the eagles as Snake said would have beaten the Hawks last year except for 10 min lapse where Buddy went berserk.

Am well aware its in Hobart North not in the same class as the Eagles, Le Cras starting to push really hard at training and is not impossible to be back for the finals which would be a massive bonus.

whats WCE's home ground advantage, 6 goals? north lost by 4 pts last year over in the west with half a side, 36 pts this year playing 12 kids over in the west earlier this year. bring on WCE i say for a beating in tassie.

Walker is a Big man tackling a little man as well and easy to do with size difference. Very Harsh penalty. Very Happy the Richmond guy was ok as well. He got up pretty quick.
